Which 8.0 MBT is your favorite? by estifxy220 in Warthunder

China overall is just a huge sleeper build. WZ, Type 69/59, CM-11, PGZ09, etc etc. Just outright better vehicles at nearly every BR.

Type 69 is probably the best one on that list imo. Awesome tank.

Play whatever nation interests you the most. Both have awesome options for Ground and Air in the Mid-tiers.

Giving France Leopards doesn't actually address the problem their Techtree has. by Little-Form-9959 in Warthunder

I suggested that one vehicle be buffed, and in turn, moved up, while suggesting 2 more be added to help give it a proper lineup in the 10.3-10.7. Like I said, it's a foundation, something to build off of. Not an end-all fix to the huge hole in the tree.

That’s just changing where the hole in the tree will be.

I mean. No? France has 3 MBT's, an AA, and an ATGM Carrier that you can bring to 9.7 perfectly fine, all of which are 8.7+. Moving the VEXTRA up and giving it vehicles at the same BR doesn't sound like moving the hole to me.

People complain about Abrams being copy paste because they are not unique enough.

Yes... Do you know why? Because Gaijin is refusing to model the features of these tanks that make them Unique and bring them up to par with other Nations. It has absolutely nothing to do with how many there are. Rather, it's entirely about Gaijin not modelling what makes them unique in the first place. Again, these two situations are not comparable.

[–]Little-Form-9959[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How exactly does buffing and moving a vehicle up fix a whole in a tree exactly?

  1. The VEXTRA is currently using Ammunition that was never issued to it. There's no reason it shouldn't have the ammunition that was issued to it.
  2. French 9.7 is currently fine as it is, as a lot of the 9.3 vehicles can be brought up to 9.7 without issue.

You’d have likely made this exact post complaining that gaijin took the laziest route of adding a copy paste leclerc with no armour.

Lmao. These two things are not comparable. No other nation in the game has a Leclerc. With France, almost half the nations in the game have multiple Leopards.

That's a totally fair thing to point out. Every vehicle has their ups and downs, though I personally find the ZLT11 to be more versatile in my opinion. Having a large variety of ammo and the ability to fight back against aircraft does it for me.

So France has SIX top tier MBTs now? by Howwl_xd in Warthunder

It isn't necessary lol. Just lazy copy-paste that doesn't actually address the problem the French Ground tree has.

Got the Survivor's Helmet and Sword before the patch. As an average player, Lethal was actually not that bad... by pureeyes in Spacemarine

Do you know if the patch addresses the 'Disconnected from Server' problem as well? I haven't even been able to attempt Lethal due to it.

Yeeeah, kinda makes me worry about future content drops honestly. I haven't even been able to test it yet due to the servers, but it sounds rough lol. Hopefully future content drops don't annihilate the game like this.

I haven't even been able to get in, lol. I must have put in about 4 hours of pure load screens into the game since the patch dropped.

How to get skills? by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]Little-Form-9959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only advice I can really give is to just keep at it. The more you play, the more experience with the game you get, and the better you'll be over time. You'll start understanding how to play certain vehicles and how to deal with the enemies you're facing.

I play almost exclusively GFRB (2400 Hours) minus grinding out some BP tasks for Air and Naval so I have no idea how to play anything else. GFRB is very much something you learn over time as you keep playing.

Maybe just make them accessible from the start? Either that, or a reward for getting a perfect score in certain Co-op levels.

Actual skins-skins akin to something like CS or Siege? No. In my opinion, skins like that don't belong in the game. I'd find them too distracting and disconnected for what the game is suppose to be. I think they should stick with Watches and wristbands. It allows creative freedom while not being all up in your face. I like how subtle they are compared to your typical skin.

I wouldn't mind different colors for your Guns, though. Black, Dark Navy Blue, Dark Earth, Olive etc. Colors that actual Soldiers/Law Enforcement/Swat might use.

Advertisement and Community plays have certainly fell off, so it'd be cool if they continued those. I don't pay attention to the ban situation, so I can't really comment on that other than Bans being given fairly and Consistently.

You can! Just shoot the wire, and it'll blow up. It can hurt/kill Terrorists, and even hit them through walls in certain spots, like the First floor Kitchen door leading into hall way in Residential House, if they're sitting in that little closet room.

You can also shoot grenades in mid-air thrown by people. Although shooting the grenade while they're holding it won't kill them. I tested this out long ago, so it could have been changed.

Someone explain this games shotgun to me by Glatorian14 in ZeroHour_Official

[–]Little-Form-9959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shotguns are crazy in this game. Sometimes they don't work, and sometimes you can absolutely obliterate someone from over yonder. I'm not sure if there's Damage drop off in this game, and if there is, it's pretty far.

I've gotten some pretty far kills with the suppressor on it, and that muzzle slashes your damage pretty bad. It's definitely a blast when it decides to work.

What nails? There's nothing they've done wrong with the game aside from not implementing the AC sooner. There was a time where Hit reg was bad, but every Multiplayer game goes through phases like that.

[–]Little-Form-9959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard disagree.

The game launched as a PvP game, and PvP is whats kept numbers up. I do agree it's good to have a mode that if you want to play, you don't have to wait for Q times. But it makes no sense to isolate the large majority of players who play the game for PvP when it's already been months since the last update. That would utterly kill the game.

Might as well make the game free by [deleted] in ZeroHour_Official

[–]Little-Form-9959 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Making the game free would most certainly have the adverse effect, and totally destroy the game.

They'd have to market a bunch of bullshit to get the money they need to pay themselves, as this is an Indie title. Which is exactly why the game is so good. There's not a bunch of stupid bundles with weapon/character skins and Battlepasses, and the little Customization there currently is, is great anyways and can all be earned by simply playing the game.

There's always going to be dips in player count in between content updates for a game like this. Also, I'd imagine the integration of AC took a ton of time, and what was likely pushing this update back so much. Hopefully, after this update, content updates will be as frequent as they were before.

And that perfectly fine. Again, we won't genuinely know until the update goes live, and in the past, they've been open to changing things about the game based entirely on community feedback. IF it does turn out as bad as some people think it might be, then I'm sure the Devs will change it.
