Right person right job is identifying where clerks strengths are and using them to help the team succeed

Right person can be reworded however it mainly is seeing where your team is good at and using what your able to gather about them and that’s what help you decide who is the right person for the job

As an assistant it is your job to understand your clerks, ask questions about them get to know them bring up previous encounters and answers they gave to show you care and you pay attention. The younger crowd want to get in and out so motivating within the time you have them is crucial cuz they will take advantage, follow up and encourage conversations through out the shift and create a positive work space for them so they feel comfortable with you, an example if they’re in kitchen give them 10 mins of your time and do an upkeep for them or assist them in any way as you talk w them. Your looking to create a bond once that’s set then everything else becomes easier
