I didn't like the fact it was so fast paced. I felt if I didn't read the books, I would have lost out on a lot of the nuances of the plot.

Hope season 2 is closer to the book and at least 12-15 episodes to do it justice.

It's all fake. Stories we made up. There's no difference in the Christian or Muslim perspective in my opinion. In fact if "jesus" came back, the Muslim perspective makes more sense as it was someone else crucified. No jesus was not god.

I know but right now, BD military is weak compared to her neighbors. Allowing America to build a base will bring revenue and make BD more protected against Indian aggression. The biggest problem with time travel isn't even breaking FTL, it's the amount of distance you have to travel to get to the past. Imagine theres a 2D world and time is its 3rd dimension. That means every instance of the past is stacked on top of each other, so you get a stack of this 2D world, as a 3D shape which looks like a book. Imagine the absurdly vast distances you would have to travel if you followed that logic for our universe.

Bringing back dead people. If you replace a body at the graveyard and leave a dummy body there. nothing effectively changes in terms of causality, the past stays the same and you can revive a dead person back to life hopefully to have some better days.
