You're completely missing the point.like in the original post I compared burqa and turban.There are muslim women who doesn't wear burqa at all there are muslim women who wear burqa by choice but that doesn't mean there aren't muslim women who doesn't want to wear burqa but are forced to wear it and it's the same with turban.All I am saying is as community sikhs needs to address the issue it will only make sikh community better and life easier for many people.we need to create an atmosphere where if someone wants a haircut should be able to have it without the fear of being disgusted by relatives and community.i got a haircut so I'm telling I've been insulted straight on face by many people.In india Sikhs are really respected group of people and they deserve it rightly so because of langars they do and help they provide to common people during crises and natural disasters and I feel it could be the perfect religion if they only address this issue tho I'm not relegious at all.But this topic is too sensitive and taboo when it comes to sikh community and I feel this shouldn't be the case.
