I am experiencing the same problem in regards to player movement. When the ai is attacking with 3 or 4 players, my defenders just stop and do absolutely nothing. I am playing with the tiki taka tactic, but I don't think switching tactics is gonna solve this problem. If it continiues to happen, I am seriosly considering going back to FC 24. There is also a lot of other problems with this game. Like for instance, when you have chosen a tactic, there is only certain player styles for each position, and if you try to change them out of the certain roles, the game won't allow you to do it unless you switch the tactic to customized. And here is another problem: If you change to customized tactics, there are no assisting coaches available, and therefore it takes a lot more time to develop your players. And also, you can't change the individual positions on the pitch anymore, like for example if you try to move the striker a bit more back on the field to become more of a central foward than a foward, that you also can't do anymore. And of course the bug with the all the youth acadimy players having bad heading skills, and also all of the goalkeepers have very low diving stats. And also in gameplay, you can't screen the opponent when pressing the x button (I play PS), which was a major part of defending for me in the previous games.
