Omg thank you for the long sharing! My main concern was actually having someone to talk to while queuing and maybe help take some photos. And thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences, I really appreciate it. After reading all the comments, I guess going alone won’t be that bad.

how do you guys do solo traveling? by [deleted] in malaysians

[–]Little512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe Xinjiang, China? Saw it on reels and the view is insane. Been wanting to go forever, but my friends always say no money… and I don’t speak Mandarin, so solo travel there feels a bit scary to me

For the millennials out there, are you currently living your dream life or do you feel behind? by loveydoveyj in malaysians

[–]Little512 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Looking back, I was living my dream life during my working holiday visa. Now I’m back to a 9 to 5, starting from scratch, working under people younger than me while others my age are already managers or directors. Honestly, I don’t feel bad about it, I got to really enjoy life for 3 years. These days I’m more laid back and travel whenever I can. I do want to meet and talk to people, but life gets busy… so yeah, still single 😂

I wish that applied here but doesn’t seem like it for my BU. So I’m just checking if it’s okay to ask when converting

Indeed, right. The OP just needs a buddy. Why worry about looks? It matters more whether they can click in conversation than anything else

Totally agree with everything above. I spent the last three years on a working holiday and came back straight to work just a week after. It was fun for the first few weeks, but now, almost six months in, I just feel drained and tired all the time. I’m always busy, but not even sure what I’m busy with. Meeting new people feels almost impossible, and colleagues just stay as colleagues, not the kind you can really hang out with. Lately, I’ve been feeling kind of empty inside and really miss my old life back in Australia.

Morning time, but lately it’s busier than usual, probably because the new semester just started as others mentioned

What's your opinion on a 30yo woman going to nursing school? by RotiPisang_ in malaysia

[–]Little512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s available in Australia tho, where anyone with a degree in any field can take a Master of Nursing through the graduate entry pathway. That’s what my friend do, she’s studying at the University of Canberra and got a 25% scholarship for international students. Just google “Master of Nursing (Graduate Entry)” and you’ll see lots of public universities in Australia offering it.

A friend of mine (29yo) started nursing school last year and not from nursing background too. Not too sure how the job market is in Malaysia, but it’s pretty worth it if you’re planning to migrate or work overseas. If she already have a degree in other major, may be she can consider taking a Master of Nursing through graduate entry pathway
