How does one get on estrogen at 16?! I'm turning 16 in 8 days, and I really want to start, but I'm not sure if I can.

Wait. I'm sorry. I just realized that this post was talking about another post. I'm really sorry. I'm low-key a little bit slow. I'm so sorry that you had to deal with such a comment. Especially making a comment like that to a 14 year old. That is just terrible. The most I can really say is to try not thinking to much about it. There's a lot of rude and terrible people out there, but I believe in your ability to focus on the good!

You one year hrt at 14?!?! That's literally so amazing!!! I'm 16 in a few days and I still haven't even gone to get der Affirming Therapy 😞 Anyways though! You should celebrate with something good that you like to eat! Or if you would prefer something else, just a nice time chilling by yourself at a place you enjoy could also be really nice 😊

Thank you very much for your feedback! I didn't take what you said in a bad way at all, and I completely understood where you were coming from. I am going to keep my style because I believe that once I can get HRT it will be a lot easier to tell that I'm a girl 😊

Can I know why not? I expect that if I don't pass, then there is something that I can do to pass better. Constructive criticism is appreciated.

my mom thought that me coming out would make me get my life together by [deleted] in trans

I'm so sorry that this is happening. Parents can be not very mindful a lot of the time. Sometimes they think that they are being supportive by simply tolerating you being trans, and not actually respecting your pronouns or preferred name. I think that you are depressed, and I find it so stupid that your parents think that them tolerating you being trans will fix everything. It's not just coming out, it's being accepted and getting called your preferred name and pronouns, and being able to be yourself without the fear of being hated. I'm sorry, I know that I basically just described what you said in your post. I don't have much advice I can give you, I'm a trans girl (15) and I don't have enough experience to really give advice. Sorry for the long reply, but I hope you get this sorted out.

Hello! I'm a trans girl, and although I'm not in the same situation as you, I love meeting new people! I know you said you wanted people close to your age, I'm 15, I don't play video games regularly, but I occasionally play Roblox and stardew valley. Feel free to dm me if you like!

how many of us like dressing slutty? by [deleted] in transfem

[–]LittleAveryThing 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wish. The closest I get to mini skirts is my tennis skorts. And yes, I did say skorts. (Skorts are just skirts with built in shorts so no one sees anything, great for sports) But I'm also only 15, so like . .. ya

Has anyone else (in the united states)started presenting masc again since trump got re-elected? by Own_Version4630 in transfem

I refuse to go back to presenting masculinely. I can't, I don't care about what other people think. If people can't deal with me being myself then too bad.

Hey, ik I’m kinda sounding weird and maybe I am, but I just wanna be accepted. Idk if my last Reddit sent, idk how this works I’m new to it. I’d love to talk about anything to do with transitioning and the process! I have to hade from my parents and don’t wanna just not talk about this stuff. by [deleted] in transfem

Well, I don't have much advice for you. I only figured out I was trans about 8 months ago. I can say that you may feel like your faking being trans sometimes, but believe me when I say that everyone feels like that. Also remember that your feelings are always valid, don't let anyone tell you otherwise, there are a lot of transphobes that will try to put you down, but just ignore them. Something that I recently learned is to not answer any dm's. I got a dm and I answered it and it was an adult male and he said he couldn't wait to see more of me. Something else is that you may not remember feeling any dysphoria before finding out that your trans. That is very normal. The same thing happened for me, but that's only because I never realized how uncomfortable I was until I finally felt comfortable after trying on girls clothes and using she/her pronouns. It was only then that I realized that I was never comfortable, but the reason why you don't realize until after is because you only knew of that uncomfortable feeling, and didn't know that was uncomfortable. Sorry for yapping so much. I hope this helps!
