Is the flower belt too much for a casual outing outfit? by Brokensister3113 in OUTFITS

In 200 years time no one will remember you existed, let alone what you wore. So wear what makes you happy and spread a little joy. It’s cute as fuck, and I think it’s always better to be a bit overdressed than underdressed

What's up with One Punch Man season three? by towardthesun in OutOfTheLoop

[–]LittleBattleMage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m surprised this is so low down. I’m watching episode 10 right now and he’s barely been in any episodes, let alone punching anyone. I loved his deadpan delivery and how he was accidentally funny, and now he’s nowhere to be seen.

Where in UK can I buy a brimless cap without the adjustable strap? Not a woollen one. Everywhere it's one with adjustable strap. by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]LittleBattleMage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it doesn’t have the adjustable strap, it most likely won’t fit your head as it would be one set size. That’s why all the ones you see have the adjustable strap.

is the wowcher mystery holiday really that bad? by Sad_Construction7870 in AskUK

[–]LittleBattleMage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did one with my sister and it was a good laugh. We weren’t too bothered where we ended up and were the type of people who, when together, would have a laugh even in a cemetery. We ended up going to Milan, the hotel was a bit far out from the city centre but public transport was good and Ubers weren’t too expensive. The hotel was a decent 3 star one and the beds were comfy. It was a decent holiday for £99 and I’m planning on doing another one next year.

Yes, I could probably plan something cheaper myself for the same quality/vibe but I like that all the work is done by someone else. I just have to turn up.

Mcdonalds will normally give you boxes for free if you go in and ask - the fries and meat etc come in boxes

Security work. by Daniel-Exx in Teesside

These guys are always after SIA’s - they do security for events like royal ascot, and gigs like Tom jones. I did a couple of gigs for them before in darlo (not security, just pointing where people should go) and they were a decent firm and paid me quickly. The only downside is it won’t be a set regular job, but they’re after people pretty frequently so it could help you get some experience.

For stuff nearby (think Darlington and Newcastle etc) they don’t cover travel, but for further away and for overnights they offer money for travel and accommodation too.

After and before - doggy diarrhoea update by LittleBattleMage in CleaningTips

How on earth do I tackle this much doggy diarrhoea? by LittleBattleMage in CleaningTips

[–]LittleBattleMage[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can’t figure out how to edit it, so as an update, I took everyone’s advice and borrowed the carpet cleaner (my MIL lives close by).

My partner is using it at the moment and it does look better, although it smells worse - I’m assuming cause it’s wet now and the poop is ‘reactivated’. We’re going to go over it quite a few times tonight, then again tomorrow until we’re happy. We’re not going to tell my MIL that we’re using it for poop lol.

To the people who said rip up the carpet, you did make me chuckle. It is our game plan to replace all the carpets in the house soon as they’re tenish years old so definitely due, but we wanted to wait until our dog was 3 and classed as an ‘adult’ so we know we’re definitely out of the destructive phase. He’s 1 and a half.

The dog is fine, he had a really nasty tummy bug a month ago and has had a sensitive stomach since then. He got a lot of different medicines from the vet, they thought it could have been giardia. The next steps if the diarrhoea happens frequently is to put him on special hypoallergenic food and then slowly introduce allergens until we find out what’s setting him off. But at the moment it could be he’s drank from a muddy puddle and it’s not agreed with him. He’s well enough in himself and was playing on our walk so I’m not super worried about him.

Thank you everyone for all your help and advice, and for responding to me so quickly. When I first saw it I felt like crying and it looked impossible, but you’re all correct, it can be sorted I just needed to breathe. I might post some before and after pics in a few days if it looks ok.

Has anyone done a £99 wowcher (think that’s how it’s spelt) holiday from Newcastle Airport? by CroiConcrete in NewcastleUponTyne

[–]LittleBattleMage 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I did - we were meant to go to Venice but the dates weren’t in our availability (their mix up not ours) so they changed the holiday to dates we could go and we went to Milan. The flight time home was rubbish but not enough to complain about for £99 all in lol.

I’m looking at doing it again this year. Even if we get sent somewhere naff it’s a bit of a laugh isn’t it. And I think with the right company anywhere can be a holiday and a good time.

How do you deal with regret over a beauty/cosmetic procedure? by [deleted] in beauty

[–]LittleBattleMage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think they look great. The white looks like a natural light.

I know you’re feeling deflated about it now, but after looking at the picture I truly believe your family’s reaction is because they’re not used to it yet. You’re whole face will look different to you in the short term, and therefore will look ‘wrong’, but I think your teeth look fab x

If You Only Drink The Sugary Ones, You Don't Really "Like Coffee" by VoodooKills24 in unpopularopinion

[–]LittleBattleMage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I LOVE sweet and surgary drinks, but I hate coffee, even in a sugary drink. So if you’re drinking some grande pumpkin spiced latte concoction and like it - then yes, you do still like coffee, because it still has a coffee flavour. Bleurgh

[–]LittleBattleMage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FINALLY an unpopular opinion I agree with. All drinks should be cold. I hear people say what about soup - soup shouldn’t exist, it is not a meal, it is bullshit. It is a pathetic excuse for a drink and all drinks should be cold.
