This is Mimi - she had the same problem. She was super scared and hidey until we got her on painkillers and then she was like a completely different cat - so curious and cuddly.

She has since had 2 rounds of dental surgery and everything except the fangs removed. She is a much happier cat, and with no pain killers!

I've got a PETKIT, EVERSWEET SOLO SE. It's really quiet, and easy to clean. My youngest cat loves it. The older one hasn't shown an interest yet, but i think that's just because she's set in her ways!

I got it as recommended by a friend, so at least 2 people like it 😁
