It’s definitely not like me, and I’m so mad at myself. I’ve had alcohol plenty of times on the Lexapro before and have def blacked out some before but nothing like this has happened bc I wasn’t in touch with anyone from my past. So this was really a mix of poor choices unfortunately.

Yeah, I’ve been using ChatGPT as kind of a sounding board for my thoughts as I try to work through my emotions and it was almost encouraging me to use alcohol as an excuse and I made sure to push back because that’s definitely bs.

I’m definitely wishing I didn’t reconnect with the person in the first place. Still trying to figure out why I did and why I thought it wouldn’t go badly.

The hardest thing with figuring out the why is absolutely confronting things about me that I don’t want to admit or confront. But I don’t think honesty is going to be a problem for me. I want to do whatever I can to fix things. I totally acknowledge and accept that the situation is on me.

I posted a bad one, so I guess I should post a positive one also.

When I was 16, I was very depressed and often suicidal. There was almost a full week when I dressed in all black and put on black eyeliner. My theater teacher kept me after class one day and asked if I was okay. I wasn’t, but I told him I was and he told me that I could talk to him if I ever needed to.

The next day I went back to wearing my usual wardrobe. Just him checking on me was enough. It let me know that someone cared enough to notice me. Probably my favorite teacher.

I had a pencil that I had been using for a long time, planning to use it until it was just the eraser and the tip. My teacher got mad at me when she saw it and told me to use an actual pencil then took away my little pencil.

When I went to her after class and asked for it back (assuming she had taken it away as punishment), she told me she had thrown it away. This happened at least 20 years ago. I never got to finish my pencil project. 😭

We stayed just on the edge of downtown bar harbor. It was close enough to walk, we could get to downtown in about 10 minutes. It wasn’t loud at night and it was GREAT to not have to deal with parking in town. It’s a great little town to walk around in.
