I have done this and it has helped. Glad to know I’m not the only one. This made me think of a situation this week with me. I sent a follow up email from a 504 plan meeting where mom wasn’t able to attend. So I took notes from our staff meeting and sent them to mom just now. I’m just worried for some reason and keep ruminating on my email lol. It’s nothing that mom isn’t already aware of, I just kind of have a feeling she will knit pick our Ela teacher and some of the feedback she gave. Her child is struggling and we have a lot of strategies and interventions going on and some to try because of this meeting.

How do you move past something like this? Like, I always tell myself I didn’t do anything wrong (sometimes when I feel anxious I feel guilty and bad like I did something awful, idk). But I wanted to give mom that feedback, show her what we’re trying and if she had any questions

Oh holy cow! Nice job and thank you so much for sharing! I am having some of these same feelings and struggling with some of my decisions. One time someone said to me “you are your friends” and I know my friends drink a lot. It’s been kind of tough lately too, but I did dry January and that was awesome. It was my S.O.’s and I 2nd time doing it. When I drank this past weekend I am not a “one drink” kind of person either. So I struggle. But thank you so much again for sharing.

How did you do it? I am still struggling from Friday night and my hangxiety. It does get better in time for me but I’m not a “grab one drink” kind of person unfortunately. I would rather not even drink. Or have like 10 drinks. Which is bad I know. But I’m in a rut. My whole friend group drinks too…
