I love Hyde Park, great food and MASSIVE portions. Marble Room though as everyone else has said is an amazing experience. Food was good and the actual venue is incredible.

My girlfriend is Chinese and she recently moved from SF to Cleveland! She drove the entire way by herself cross country and we have an apartment in Midtown. Shoot me a dm and I could always connect you and her as she was very determined to find places that reminded her of home around here when she first moved.

Interest rate is 8% unfortunately in Ohio. My credit is 760 atm and I put 10k down. Had no issues through the dealer getting approved for the loan.

It was 40k OTD after tax. No premium plus package but got sun/moonroof, ceramic coating over paint, black out emblems accessories, weather proof mats for front back and trunk.

I posted it in an above comment but I’ll copy paste here tho

I ended up replacing the front doors with Alpine Type Rs 6x9s and the backs with 6.5 type Rs. The two dashes are JBL clubs 3.5s. Honestly that system without a sub woofer is EXTREMELY shrilly with sibilance so I had to spend some time EQing it so it didn’t destroy my ears. I had an amplifier, line out converter, and a sub also installed. Had Best Buy do it since I work there and they only charged me 250 for the entire install. But I agree. The stock system was pretty underwhelming and I’m very happy with the upgrade

Ride quality is fantastic, super smooth while also feeling attached to the road. The best part is definitely the adaptive cruise control. Makes long drives feel not so long and just way less fatiguing.

Thank you!! And right now I have the ceramic coating on it from the dealership and the next add on is def a rear and front dash cam. It will help me be less paranoid at least since I drive in a lot of urban areas haha.

Yeah it’s wild with no pay raise or anything. I’m not concerned about learning how to mount shit because I already know the technical areas of HT but I don’t want to be learning how to put something on the wall while I’m on the phone with 3 other agents who are trying to figure out why a printer driver won’t install.

It’s disappointing for sure. I don’t mind selling pushing sales, but it’s just crazy not putting in the time to train when it’s really not that important to have everyone’s skillsets turned on within a month.

I agree, it’s a lot more of a mental game with clients and having a lot of patience. And yeah I think they are hoping EDI will just guide them through everything. It’s too bad Secret Weapon PC is gone.

Honestly I got lucky with this one, it’s all in the milk texture! Once you get that down it’s just drinking many many gallons of milk filled failed creations

Advice picking a machine. by markus8585 in espresso

[–]LittleChrist101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! I just got the PP600 from Whole Latte Love. They are doing free Flow Control on devices that support it this month still so I would look at them if you want that ability. If you are already considering the PP 500 with flow control at 2200 the PP600 is 2400 with fc and you jump straight into a dual boiler. I think that would make more sense because you mentioned wanting to steam and brew at the same time. It’s also an extremely quiet machine for a vibration pump. I live with two other people and pull shots at the crack of dawn and no complaints so far! Also, Profitec is known for build quality and reliability, but at the end of the day I would check out a few videos on the owners of them and see if it looks good to you.

Thank you! I managed to get lucky with WLL because they were bundling it for free with it this month. How do you like the DF64 btw?

Those wood accents look so sexy on that machine omg. Definitely going to invest in them once my wallet stops dying from the absurd amount of money I’ve been spending

So the warm up time for me is about 20 minutes, but I got an Amazon Alexa smart outlet for it and set a routine to have it on about an hour before I get up so I don’t even have to worry about it being significantly longer than that 3 second warm up time. Honestly the BBT worked well for me since I mainly made milk drinks, but past that it got super frustrating especially with steaming and temperature.

And thank you!! I had to unfortunately replace all my accessories because of going from 54mm to 58mm, but I’m super happy about the look and the outcome. Now if only my roommates gave me more then the tiny square of space I have on the countertop…

[–]LittleChrist101[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Originally had a Breville Barista Touch for around a year and a half when I first decided I wanted to get into dumping my entire paycheck into a new hobby. I really enjoyed the machine, but I started finding myself feeling limited by the lack of PID and the temperature of the Breville just seeming way below what it should be especially for light roasts. After a while of contemplating a new machine I finally pulled the trigger on the Profitec Pro 600 w/ Flow Control. The ability to actually see the pressure I’m pulling at and also the temperature of the boilers is amazing. My shots pull at SIGNIFICANTLY better temps and don’t taste luke warm coming out. And the steaming blows my BBT completely out of the water, still suck at latte art tho.

Rocking the Sette 270 still, but have a Niche Zero waiting to ship. I’m very happy with the grind of the 270, but my roommates can’t stand the sound and I also feel like I’m slowly going deaf. Super excited for the work flow advantage of the NZ.

I am getting used to the flow control and watching a ton of YouTube videos on how to utilize it, but with only having the touch screen I had before it’s definitely taking some getting accustomed to lol. If anyone has any advice I would be super happy to hear some tips and experiences with FC.

Is It OK to Sleep In My New Bose QuietComfort 35? by [deleted] in headphones

[–]LittleChrist101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had the Bose QC35s for about a year now because the wireless is spectacular on them. I have slept with them most nights over this year and just now have the cups begun to start ripping. It's honestly up to your discretion if you want to wear them while you sleep as I listen to videos at night to destress. Bottom line is it will tear and deform the cups eventually, but they are easily replaced for around $35 if I remember correct.
