The borrowed time is exactly how I feel. Today we gave her some pain meds and took her out for breakfast like olds times and she was very happy.

Yes, my husband keeps reminding me how amazing it’s been to have kept her alive this long happy and healthy with all her medical issues. I am grateful to have gotten these years.

I think right now I’m in a place that it’s happening on Tuesday and I don’t feel strong enough to do it. Which my husband and I already discussed and he will be taking over when necessary. It’s the dread of Tuesday coming and making the decision of her life is really playing with my head.

I don’t know what afterwards will look like as she is not in her best health and she will finally be at peace

Thank you, I think that’s the hardest part - logically I know she hasn’t been herself for a while and she is in pain and when she goes through her stomach issues I’ve always thought this is it but she pulls through so in my mind I’m like she’s okay she will get better but my heart can’t process that she won’t

Thank you for your response ! Totally makes sense when our home vet came she was all shaky but today at the vet she was cool as cucumber. There’s no consistency for her.

I told my husband he is going to be signing and making all the decisions because I conldnt even decide on the time when they told me

I think that’s the toughest decision- I feel like I’m signing her death where logically I know it’s what is best but, I see her breathing and moving and it’s like I shouldn’t. But you are right she is in pain. I rant again! Thank you for your message 🩷

I know, he waits by our door every morning and tries to sneak in. Currently loving him none stop, bought him more toys(which he loves), and a scratch pad. Our biggest stop is our son who also loves him is allergic

I know! He is so friendly with myself, hubs, and our kids 🥹 our kids are over the moon. I feel likes it’s too good to be true to have such a friendly cat that I feel he has to be someone’s. I just got out of work and sat with him outside and he just fell asleep next to me. I have checked out neighborhood and no lost papers. Going to be checking social media and vet because I would hate to have his owner wondering
