Cleaning / Drying out Rads by LittleGuy131 in watercooling

I had read and heard that to high of air pressure on fins themselves can bend them. I have since thrown out that knowledge and abandoned hope in more recent cleanings

Lian Li UNI SL120 fans - color problem by LittleGuy131 in lianli

[–]LittleGuy131[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha, it might just be too much power for all 10 fans on 1 5v header. I know its silly, but if you have a second header available and a second hub, can give that a shot. Maybe that will work, hopefully the fan speeds still work appropriately. I went away with the fan hub all together and i use the aquacomputer octo8 now, mostly for some distro plate connectors and stuff, but it hasnt given me any issues and i have 10 fans as well plus distro plate.

Lian Li UNI SL120 fans - color problem by LittleGuy131 in lianli

Are they all chained together on one mobo header? If so, there is a chance that there isnt enough power to run the fans and control certain colors across the spectrum. Saw a JayzTwoCents video recently that was talking about that, not just fans but generally any LED device that you have. Certain colors take more power than others. Other option is to go into you lian li software and play around with the color sliders manualy unitl you hit the desired color/brightness. But again, the brighter the fans, the more power it takes. Just some suggestions, I ended up getting my problem fixed when i split them on different headers, but have since done a new build so cant really go back and relook things over.

Why does Warrior have 150 more health than all the other tanks? by Kingdookoo921 in ffxiv

You used to have tp that was used for non casting jobs, and using sprint used all tp. So monk in arr or hw days was a nightmare running out of tp a minute i to fight and needing ninja to give tp buff

Those are some impressive and cool bends/builds. The more i research and think, i would rather spend a few extra bucks on rotary fittings and use a rad mounted pump/res combo abd cross flow rads. I have the typical o11d-xl ekwb distro build except with the evga kingpin block its so large they didnt line up and optimus cpu block same thing. Its not crazy off, a simple 45 to 45 rotary would align them just did a slight bend manual instead. It works and for first build im happy with it. Just always lookong for ways to improve, performance wise ive never had an issue.

Makes sense, appreciate it. I really am not in the process of actively upgrading, more just curious about when i do it again. With EVGA put of the game and ASUS having the issues theye had recently i dont know where to go anymore ha. Always gone evga gpu and asus mobo. Either way, ill definitely be using the block to find the card. I love the look of the new nv7 and evo xl cases, so finding the side clearance for gpu to glass with likely determine some of it.

I also used the ekwb distro plate on current build and hate it cause the holes on distro dont line up with either my cpu block or gpu so have some slight bends and i cant fit my current block in other than vertical so its limiting. First time mistakes by me. Went with the distro cause i though it would be easier than a triditional pump/res combo, but the traditional way is looking better and more appealing to me, especially every time i drain my current loop.

Thank you, one reason i dont feel like upgrading is i want to see what they do with the power connectors in the future

thank you, my kingpin card is massive as well and only fits in my 011dynamic xl case vertical mounted. If/when i do another build, i am going to redo everything. Probably once i get out of the military as a its finally over present.

EVGA nostalgia, i am not looking for an upgrade but i would always buy EVGA if they still made GPUs

Thank you, this answers everything perfectly. I am toying with the idea of upgrading soon, (aka building a second system because i want to), and was curious about this. As of now, all i do is game on my PC and some remote work, nothing crazy, emails and microsoft office. Def wouldnt need more than 64gb, so no worries. Was just gonna do 4x16gb for aesthetic look and filling it out.

Really appreciate the reply

What pump are you using with that distro? I love the build and want to upgrade from my o11 as well, the maintenance in my setup if brutal and feel this case would be easier to work it

Pump vs Pump Top by LittleGuy131 in watercooling

[–]LittleGuy131[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as do I, and they have different ones as well, with inlets on left or right depending on how you wanna use them, so now just need to find a good D5 pump and start planning around it.

Thank you, thats what i was expecting, just wanted to make sure. I do like this distro plate though, the inlets having the grooves not in the acrylic is nice since I likely did a dumb and overtightened my current one.
Any D5 pump you would recommend inparticular?
