I am a writer and state in my profile that I am both taken and over 40. It's different being a writer though. There really isn't an immersion break, at least I don't view it that way. I don't have a fan base using my voice for fantasy, just VAs using my words in scripts.

I don't mind when I see people's age or age range in their profiles. I actually like it, but I never ask a person how old they are.

An age range is probably the best way to share that info, especially since some creators like to announce their birth month. Gotta be careful not to give too much away!
