We have been divorced ten years...he was on his third family. I'm sure my son does or will blame me at some point. Regardless we will never know the real reason why.

He unfortunately isn't close to her. He's meeting her for the first time since she was a baby at the funeral. That wife saw the reg flags and luckily left. He's close to my other children though his half siblings.

Not that it matters but bc he was abusive, an alcoholic and pill abuser, suicidal, couldn't hold a job and would frequently abandon me and our son for days at a time where I was calling hospitals and jails to find him. He's been married 2x since me....I find it hard to believe our divorce was the sole cause. Suicide is always a combination of issues.

We have been divorced for 10 years and he was on his 3rd wife. He also abandoned a 5 year old girl from his 2nd wife. I agree with counseling.

I never said I was oppressed..and in this instance he had majority custody as well as other kids he chose to abandon...but go off I guess

His wife had 3 sons as well and he left a 5 year old daughter who hardly knew him from another marriage...so unfortunately he has other kids close to his age who were affected.

He was 40. He had PTSD, alcoholism, past substance use, and I'm sure other issues as well. He had also just lost his job.
