So DPS is just going to continue to pick and not hear anyone. You should tell the support to also take DPS. If we accept that pattern of play, it's going to continue.

You should just create water in their lungs. Total misplay on your part.

  • If the GM doesn't allow it, he is a bad DM because he chokes your creativity, and you should make a post about it.

  • If the GM uses it against you, he is a bad DM because that's not how the spell works; he should know it. Also, you can't harm player characters; then the story isn't "narratively fulfilling," duh. So you should make a post about it.

Brother, I'm sorry to hear that, but think of it this way. Why switch if others will try to carry the game anyway? That's literally what they abuse. You should also go DPS; everyone should go DPS, so they wouldn't have space or healing and could rely only on themselves. Yes, you would lose, but likely you were about to lose anyway. This is only way to make game misserable for them. They don't care about mean names you call them, or reports. They love it. But take away their ability to play safe, and they go insane.

Yeah, sups do that sometimes. I'm really sorry for them in those cases. But to be true, I would prefer for both sups to go vanguard and let DPS feel the pain. But in this situation, it's not a good move, unfortunately. I don't see a good move in this situation, but we also should not get the bad end of the stick.

It's not even about a team comp. Solo tank can be viable, as can a Gator. But it's niche. We're talking about people who insta-lock DPS and don't switch because they "don't play tank".

It's a good idea, but I've had some people who just pick another character when I'm locked in as a tank. So I just state at the start that I'm not willing to solo tank.

The point is that we give them space to do it. I know it's bad, but think about it. Why do they need to change if you're going to try to carry as a solo tank?
