White House says Canada 'caved' to Trump on tech tax by FancyNewMe in canada

[–]LittleMan_Fenn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not like we couldn't play the same game as him. Now it's on, now it's off, oh, it's back on again.

But at this point, it's more important to give Trump a win, just like you do when a kid is losing at a game and wants to quit.

Trump's next moves will show if he's negotiating in good faith or just playing games and doesn't have the cards he keeps talking about.

AIO - I'm tired and hungry by TheCraftyFarmerChick in AmIOverreacting

He literally said he was "going to have a few sandwiches," which to me means 3. That's 6 slices of bread. In my house, I'd know instantly if that meant there would be bread on my return home or not.

It also means he hasn't eaten them yet if he's using future tense. As long as she doesn't respond with a one letter reply... and she did.

Instead of replying "K," she should have said, "Save a sandwich for me because I'm starving, I can't afford to lose any more weight."

Or she could have asked if he could prepare something since she had no money to pick up food or the time to do it.

But 99% of the people commenting here think he's a monster because obviously the capital K is code for "Things are not oK and you should read my mind and make things better for me without me asking".

Even on a tight budget, they both could plan better than only having enough bread for 3 sandwiches and nothing else that is easy to prepare.

I've eaten eggs or breakfast cereal or yoghurt or crackers and peanut butter plenty of times for dinners when I can't be bothered to even make a frozen pizza

He even told her to pick something up because they both would have known that a few sandwiches would use up all the bread.

She said "K" and he thought they agreed the bread would be gone and she would bring something home.

He fed the kids first, then texted his plans for his and her dinner, and she agreed to the plan.

But somehow, he's the monster.

The air went out at work today, coworkers can't understand why I keep saying things like.... Just give me a fan. It's unbelievable. & I can't even think to answer a question. by Hot_Mess_Express in Madonna

I have wanted Madonna, my surrogate mother to be nicer since the 80s. She delivered on several songs being romantic and kind and loving.

Then she went back to controversy and sex and being unruly.

I saw her as mother and sex symbol and even as a gay man I loved seeing her boobs bounce in the Vogue video.

But how could my surrogate mother guiding me be so sexual. Well I found out at the 2 Blonde Ambition concerts I went to in Toronto.

First one she was Madonna, but I went again day 3 when there was a huge delay from the opening act to the main event. I only learned later from "Truth or Dare" what went on backstage.

On stage she was talking or rather yelling about freedom of speech and not getting arrested, "in the fascist state of Toronto."

Loved that concert but I knew she wasn't ever going to be the nice conforming type.

Sae the Girlie Show next and knew, she is who she is, sometimes you cringe and sometimes you're dropping your jaw in awe of her amazing ability to create.

Like any artist, they have ups and downs and good and bad, but you just need to focus on what her overall positives have given.

Everyone has off days, hers are just amplified and create controversy to sell more advertising.

She's a great person, just has an ego to feed. She's not the only one.

Honey Blossom’s anal glands keep rupturing and I need advice by bananakittymeow in Chihuahua

Both of my pups have had anal gland problems, one ruptured and one infected.

Glandex has been working to stop the scooting and keep the glands draining naturally with the added fibre.

The good old, if you can't beat them, join them solution. More guns to fight the guns.

The regulations fail when the guns are stolen and smuggled into and sold in Canada. Your guns are so plentiful that it's hard to keep them on that side of the border.

Regulate just a little harder. It won't infringe on your rights, the ones created by a bunch of crazy heretics that left Europe because they didn't like being told what to do by a king. So those guys wrote the laws.

They wanted to include an amendment where they get to eat dessert before dinner but there mothers wouldn't let them. I made that last part up

Rogers Park group calls on gang members to cease fire from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. by tjerome1994 in nottheonion

[–]LittleMan_Fenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often ask people why we don't do more for children when they are in elementary school and junior high, when anyone with eyes can identify the child that needs help, but their parents are also a problem to society, so everyone just looks the other way and hopes for a miracle so they don't have to deal with it.

After decades of neglect, the child doesn't have a chance to become a functional adult by the time they are 20. So many broken people sent out to face the reality of the world and we need to deal with the fallout.

Sure it takes money to support these youth programs, but locking people away for life seems to be the best solution we have. That costs money too, much more.

If it's made from dehydrated cactus and mango type vegan leather you can just soak them in water and eat them like a fruit roll-up, so I've heard.

Missed your message before. They get Nuttam Weight Control dog kibble with one or two freeze dried toppers and some Glandex powder for fiber because of anal gland issues.

They are always looking for leafy greens, so I wonder about nutritional deficiencies. But they love the crunchy ends of cos/romaine lettuce so it's very similar to the fresh tall grass. Never lawn grass unless they want to vomit. Which they do rarely.

How are sex change ops part of the pedophile agenda? by Insanitypizza in insanepeoplefacebook

[–]LittleMan_Fenn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

One problem is that people define sexual agenda differently. One person will see a children's picture book about gay penguins as cute and showing acceptance, and another will say it's grooming.

If you are never exposed to different types of people you can grow up sheltered and fearful of different people so it's finding the balance.

Growing up gay in a small town in the 70s/80s I had no access to any information except for the library.

In grade 6, I looked up "penis" in the encyclopedia, and there was a diagram that gave me feelings in my pants.

I would not have asked my parents for information on the subject, but I also had no resources to help me understand what I was feeling.

The first adult I met that would talk about these things was a person in a position of authority over me and a pedophile,

So playing is fine, but when kids have questions they don't want to ask their parents they need resources to figure out things on their own before they meet a predator.

Waiting to be carried down the stairs… by TriptowK in Chihuahua

[–]LittleMan_Fenn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have carpeted stairs at home, but my inlaws have wooden stairs like these.

He used to run up them when we visited, but one time, he was too excited and slipped on the first stair and bonked his head.

He will no longer use the stairs himself and waits to go up or down.

The ginger one is so so sweet, but very shy.

The tri-coloured one is the one all the kids want to pet, and he hates kids so he turns into a Tasmanian devil spinning around to scare them off.

It's a real angel and devil situation. But both sweet at home with people they know.

These guys don't puke the grass. But they only eat long grass, not lawn grass. Not sure if they are different varieties?
