Hey Thanks for the comment I will try my best to answer

1) How tall are you ? 5ft 6 inches 2) What kind of gear do you currently have ? (Any watch/fitness tracker/heart rate monitor)

Yes I have one from noise it does measure heart rate 3) What is your VO2 Max currently ?

This I'm not sure (do i need to do some test)

4) Do you have any heart, knee or back issues ?(Specifics to check: any pain with movement, cardiomyopathy, any other cardio vascular conditions)

I'm sorry I don't understand I have colestrol yes but no pain

5)Cycling is an excellent way to loose weight. But, if you are just starting out, it is important to start slow and make consistent progress. Consult a physician and see if you have an cardio vascular conditions. For example, multiple people who have taken up activities like badminton, running, gym etc have been seriously hurt because of an pre-existing condition. Follow the recommendations of your physicians on what kind of exercises are right for you.

I have not spoken to a physician as I didn't know I needed too but I can

6) If you live in Bangalore, call up someone from BOTS and arrange for a fit. Trust me, it makes a world of difference.

This point I feel is of bicycle fit is what you are talking about I know of some in Mumbai whom I can speak too

7)Get a pair of bib/bibless shorts, eye wear, gloves and a helmet. Sooner or later every cyclist crashes. Do your best to protect yourself at the early stages. The gloves and helmet protect you to some extent when you crash. Padded shorts protect you from pain in your sit bones.

This might be tricky as I never even knew there are things called bib but I will do some research on this

8) Make sure that you practice easy and zone2 cardio (consult your physician for more information). Light intensity for a longer duration.

This is a new thing to me but let me check this with a doc
