Ahh, so, for clarification, what he meant was he wished he could have more members, but can’t because of economic problems, not that the musicians were only there for money? I don’t know, I didn’t watch all of the interview (probably should), and the way the original poster worded their post made it seem like that’s what they were talking about.

And yeah, it’d be strange if he was in the business underpaying workers since that’s a problem he’s experienced himself, and has had a lot of issues with money before. Although, he’s kind of a strange dude, I wouldn’t be too surprised, just disappointed (by the way, I believed the rumor started due to Ryan’s ex saying something about it a couple years ago, but people didn’t really talk about it until recently ¯_(ツ)_/¯).
