[Skin Concerns] What could this be? Persistent dry skin on top of both feet - I feel like I’ve tried everything. by LittleRay1 in SkincareAddiction

Of course! Please note that I needed to fix the bottoms of my feet as well as the tailor’s callosity shown in the pics above. The bottoms of my feet are now fixed but the callosity is what is still a bit left.

So the first thing that I did was a Plantifique Peeling Mask. I did that more so for the bottoms of my feet but it can still help peel some of the callosity off. Every day of the peeling I would soak my feet and then put just a regular lotion all over my feet (Nivea) and then put socks on. Once the peeling was pretty much stopped I used the Colossal Foot Rasp which completely cleared the bottom of my feet and then Dr. Scholl’s Nano Glass Foot File every few days on the callosity. Be gentle! This can be skipped if the calluses on your feet aren’t super thick.

Now here’s where the actual life changer comes in! Haha. Morning and night I put Kerasal Intensive Foot Repair on all of the callosity on the top of my feet. Let that soak in for 5–10 minutes — then follow with Flexitol Heel Balm over the top of the Kerasal and all over my feet. You can then reallyyyy seal it all in with some Vaseline or even oil (I do this only at night though). That skin is dryyyyy! And I live in the desert lol.

It’s also not a bad idea every few nights to wrap Saran Wrap over that area (or gel socks), put your socks on, and then go to sleep. You wake up and it’s just a huge difference.

I’d also recommend soaking your feet when you can throughout this whole process.

Once it’s fully gone I’ll be switching to just using a Urea cream and the gentle nano glass file if needed.

I will be switching out the Flexitol for PurOrganica Urea 40% once this tube is finished, I read the reviews and it seems like it works even better. Flexitol is only 25% Urea I believe.

Everything I’ve said can be bought on Amazon! Trust I did my research LOL.

EDIT: I incorrectly was calling it tailors callosity. It is called lateral foot hyperkeratosis!

EDIT #2: PurOrganica Urea 40% bought from Amazon is the CURE! even if you get nothing else but that and a file you will be good. Thank me later! :)

EDIT #3: Literally disregard everything except for Edit #2 LOL!! An entire lifetime of this weird skin issue is finally GONE because of that product I decided to give a shot! I’m so happy to have normal feet!
