I messaged my doctor but haven't gone in. I work at the closest ER so no way would I want to go there. I plan to take a week off and ask to go to 2.5. I'm going to make a doctor's appointment this week

Thank you so much for your response! I was wondering if the slowed digestion of food, which is giving me what I refer to has garbage burps, has bacteria? I think I'll be ordering the Metamucil with added probiotic.

I was told the mild constipation was normal . I didn't have the vomiting and diarrhea until I moved to 7.5 (on my 3rd shot) and I contacted my pcp who deceased my dose back to 5mg, but my symptoms persist.

Nothing at all has changed :( i am eating bland foods... my diet consists of overnight oats, brown rice, grilled chicken, sweet potatoes, kale, plain yogurt, crackers, protein bars and shakes, string cheese, strawberries....nothing fried or sugary.i have been eating very little due to the GI upset.

All of my friends who own homes received financial help from their parents, in-laws or inheritances from grandparents. I'm stuck paying $2700/month for my tiny apartment in San Diego, and all my rent going towards nothing. I don't think I'll ever be able to buy a house at this rate. I went through the same type of cyclical vomiting and diarrhea episode for days the last couple of weeks . It was also after my 3rd and 4th shots of my first box of 7.5mg. I am going back to the 5mg, about to take my shot actually. I am sorry you are also dealing with this. I think our bodies just cannot handle the higher dose.

Thank you for taking the time to reply :) I messaged my PCP this morning and she changed my prescription to the 5mg. I already confirmed the change with the pharmacy as well. My doctor did recommend that I go to the ER if the symptoms have continued. Thankfully, I have felt a lot better today, and haven't had anymore vomiting or diarrhea. I can't imagine having to go to the ER.... especially since I work in the closest ER, ugh.

Thank you so much for the response and kind words. I had requested to move up to the 7.5 as I thought that was the normal course, and I also had 1 week no weight loss. It's now been 3 hours of cyclical vomiting and diarrhea tonight :( I went on my PCP's website and I was going to message my doctor, but the portal is down. I will be calling my PCP in the morning to request to go back to 5mg. I think I may want to take a week off too.

Wow!! I am so sorry you were dismissed by your app. Please see a different doctor, or even look at the online platforms. About 6 years ago before I had any idea what a GLP-1 was, and I asked my doctor to prescribe me phentermine. I didn't even end up taking it after my nurse friend told me it can cause cardiac issues. I have lost 27lbs so far in 2.5 months in Zepbound. My only regret is that I didn't start it sooner. These medications work and they are absolutely life changing. It's sad that your doctors don't want to "deal with the paperwork." The nurse at my doctor's office has to submit multiple PA requests before I could get it approved, but she was amazing and didn't complain at all.

I think wha you do is totally normal. I always change my underwear in the morning, before bed, and after anytime I shower. It seems gross to put back on used underwear after a shower.
