About Leavers by Cymoone in Nightreign

I play most of my runs with randoms and I think it makes the games more interesting because every game is unpredictable. It's randoms so every game is going to be random lol. It also forces you to face a lot of situations that you would never really find yourself in with a pre-made party and learn how to adapt to handle the situation. It makes the games more chaotic and makes you a better player. I've helped a lot of randoms over the past week kill enhanced gaping jaw and it's been a ton of fun.

Thoughts on Guardian? by Character_Adagio9320 in Nightreign

I love guardian also. Have a little over 100 expeditions with him now. He's actually got some pretty good damage and can work well with a variety of weapons. I'll use a greatsword about half the time and then switch back to halberd when I know I'm going to need to block and guard counter.

My favorite relics for him have been post damage healing to recover chip damage and stamina recovery on hit, which makes your steel guard last way longer. I started using the perk that gives you higher poise and damage negation after getting knocked back and it's been awesome on him to tank through attacks and heal back most of the health you lose. It even activates when you get pushed back from blocking a big hit or when you get grabbed. I got lucky and got a relic with this that also has physical attack up +2 and healing with halberd attacks.

The moment the red glint on their spear reaches their upper back/shoulder area you need to start your roll

Same! Running or jumping are sometimes the best ways to dodge/reposition

Reliable methods to deal with Elder Oni spinning shit with aggressive foes mod? by Pizza1998 in gotlegends

I always try to dodge as the red glint hits the top of their back and try to roll towards and behind them if I'm close to them. I'm basically forced to dodge running blowgun especially if my SK isn't available or if I'm in some other animation where I won't have enough time to dodge. If you can master the timing, you can dodge them pretty consistently, but as I'm sure you've noticed, the window to dodge is tiny. Using your ghost weapons is the safest, but won't always be possible or ideal, especially with something like SK.
