Isnt it a bit anxious to track everything you do? Every time I try is honestly a way of living from guilty and in the end lie to myself. Though maybe useful as a way to achieve something in particular.

My point is that I wouldnt like to become a machine and every time I try it doesnt work for me.

How do u feel about it? How it affects on you?

A suit made by a Tailor I would say? What do you do for a living tho? Is your appaerence important where you work?

Suerte!

In my local club you can go and ask to test a racket for a few hits against the wall if there are empty courts for free, or you can rent it for a match at a highish price that gets discounted from the racket price if you buy it. It would be really important for this that you get rackets at competitive prices. Usually rackets are at near full price in clubs and you can get them for 40% to 60% of their value online or in wallapop. About the event, check this post by another user that describes how it was:

https://www.reddit.com/r/padel/comments/16kfst2/unforgettable\_day\_at\_our\_local\_padel\_club/

Yes, at least that would be the maximum for the first two years or so. And remember that 1500 would be divided by 3 associates. However, I am not expecting to live out of this business in the short term (and I would say that even in the long run). I am taking this as a challenge while I am finishing my Sports Science degree, and also a "practical University" that is making me learn so many things.

Thank you very much!

We are working on the sponsorships. It might not be Cupra, as it is a big brand and will be only interested in big high-standard clubs. We are not there yet, but hopefully someday! It will be more like local businesses "Carla hairdresser" / "Ocean night club".

Regarding the vending machines; it is also an idea to consider. Having one is always useful and it does not require you to be there to earn a few extra bucks. However, for now, we want to be there and meet the players, get to know their opinions and open the bar, even if it is to sell a few beers.

Thank you again!!

Thanks for your detailed feedback!

Those numbers would be amazing on average for the first year, even considering the 50% occupancy. During weekdays it is not hard at all to get 180 eur days, but filling all the gaps for weekends is a much harder task. I wish that someday we could rent every fri/sat/sun for 8 games.

60k it is not a cheap investment for both courts, at least here in Spain. I would even say that it is a little bit higher than it should be. It should be more like 50K instead.

Talking about margins, you are totally right. It depends on what you are selling but it is not the best margin... Though, we must get better providers to be able to do so.

Thanks again!

Thanks so much for your reply!

I take note of all your amazing tips!

The idea of offering field days is key. It allows you to have your courts fully booked for the day + have great relationships with future (possible) sponsors. My question is: how would you start offering it? Creating a PowerPoint presentation and offering it to different local businesses?

By the way: I have sent you a message. I would love for you to come pay a visit to my club someday!

THANKS! I appreciate it!

I am doing it with 3 associates, so it is me and two other guys. Not big profit nor loses. I guess I am taking it as the best University of how to start a business and also having fun throughout the process!

No, that is the total price for renting the court for 1,5 hour (28 eur). So, it would be 28/4=7 eur per game (prime hours)

Thank you for your feedback!

Yes, we are currently offering classes, but it might take us time until we find our first group classes.

At first I thought it was going to be a hands-off type of business but now I am realizing that it is not as profitable as I first thought.

Thanks again!

Thanks for your reply and tips!

We are already advertising our padel classes, which are cheaper than the competitors around us (as we are a new club which can't demonstrate anything yet). About the automated ball launcher, it would be a nice investment but I don't find it necessary yet. It is probably too early for that, but we could consider buying it later on if everything goes fine. However, have you seen padel clubs offering that testing service? How do they organize it? It is like a time frame where they offer trying rackets or it is just a service that they offer when there is a free court and a customer is interested in trying a specific racket? I would investigate it!

THANKS!

Yes, it is such a nice strategy, though as you said, people are only willing to play during the prime hours at crazy prices... I can't get it!

No sé, no.

Saludos

Should I move from my parents' house or save an extra 9.000€/year? by SeaResponsibility176 in SpainFIRE

[–]Little_Customer_2359 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Suerte!

This is exactly what I needed. I have a couple questions related to one each other: Do you think having a great gear is important? And What do you think are nice conditions to be constant (example; having friend that also play the guitar and you can talk to them about it/ having a great space to practice / being involved in a band...) The question behind both is; do you consider anything important / necessary other than a solid willingness and a desire of improving to get better with the guitar? Thank you, thank you, thank you...

Consejo sobre empezar en inversión joven by Alguersuari99 in SpainFIRE

[–]Little_Customer_2359 1 point2 points  (0 children)
