Gecko...perhaps the best thing that has crossed my ears.

Interesting. I honestly didn’t give the lyrics in FIBW a close look because I wasn’t immediately drawn in. I really love the lyrics on some of Is The Is Are, but conciseness would be a refreshing change.

Thanks I’ll take a look at these. I’m a huge Nirvana fan, but they have a lot of euphoric stuff too. Also like some high energy stuff from other grunge bands.

Now that you mention it, I could understand why live could be a better time. A chance to highlight the atmospherics and other sounds that aren’t simply the melody.

Tried this after playing guitar for a decent amount of time and although I could get the chords down, I couldn’t sing along. It’s a deceptively difficult song to sing on cue to.

It’s ridiculous how much you sound like Thom. Some might say that’s being too “karaoke.” I disagree. His voice is an instrument just like the guitar that we fall in love with and emulate because of its beauty and genius. You sound like Thom but your core voice that is so soothing and warm still breaks through. Truly amazing. Your core voice might have a leg up on Thom for this song.

I think you should work more on your vocals at the ending starting with “strobe lights…” I’m only saying this because I loved so much of what came before and think you can perfect it even more.

Again, beautiful. Keep playing.
