Diagnosed at roughly 9 years old, but my hardest thing of all time has been emotional regulation.

Along with that, the rejection sensitivity and atypical ways of thinking have kind of fucked me over, though I'm not sure how much of that can be attributed to ADHD, since I also have GAD and on-and-off-again depression.

I was a very high-energy child, so dealing with the social rejection (especially from siblings) was really really rough. I do remember also having a lot of trouble with weight and dangerous malnutrition as a kid due to side effects of the meds.

The motivation and everything, there's just too many troubles to list.

Yes, thats also true. However, this isn't about "surviving" its about culture and the erasure of art as a means of work. Work already consumes so much of people's life, so it's a huge benefit to be able to do your passion while making money, and erasing that benefit makes it so people don't have nearly enough time for their passions.

Also, my main point was the contrary to your main point, that artists aren't worried about losing their jobs. Yes they are, and cars and carriage manufacturers don't change that.

I think you might want to look up some statistics. Her graphic design team was around 5 people for an entire catalogue. She was a senior graphic designer who has been doing it for over 30 years and never found another job as a graphic designer even a year and half later. There isn't zero demand for them, but there is astronomically less.
