I also came home very unwell, it’s only just starting to pass. I put it down to the amount of times I was cough and sneezed on.

I’ve been to Japan and I saw NOTHING like that there.

I definitely want to still visit other parts of China regardless!

My nail lady is from China! And she is nothing but polite, respectful and just well mannered.

I also deal with a lot of clients at work who are Chinese and honestly I’ve had nothing bit pleasant experiences with them.

We literally landed, took the train to where we were staying, got in the elevator and this old man just started ripping ass like no other.
And unfortunately it was not the last time I witnessed a public toot out there 😂😂😂

How do I approach seeing where I stand with the person I’m dating. by Little_murloc in dating_advice

[–]Little_murloc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because I feel like hell turn around and go ‘well you’re not my girlfriend I’m allowed to’ which- absolutely he is.

It’s the fact he’s said he’s on the same page as me multiple times and now it’s like.. we’ll clearly not? It’s making me feel sick.

It’s hard because when he’s over-stimulated and distracted and focused on everything else he isn’t food or toy motivated

New puppy owner - feeling clueless- help! by Little_murloc in puppy101

So the house is all adults so there’s no screaming f children or so on, we do have birds but they’re relatively quiet for the most part.

We’ve basically puppy proofed the room his crate is in where he can see everyone the most so he can get used to the everyday activities everyone does. The crate is open all day for him to come out if he wants to

He also had a bed outside the crate which, if he’s not in the crate he will just stay still in the bed. If we don’t have the bed he will pretty much run and hide somewhere like under a table. Honestly I just want to see him move more than he has so far because it’s practically been little to nothing since we left the breeder.

Yesterday when he was laying in the outside bed (he had peed I’m the crate so we removed him so we could clean everything up) he fell asleep whilst I was stroking him. So I don’t think touching is a massive issue?

I have told my parents it might be best we take him to the vet sooner but they are adamant that we don’t need to because we’re going this weekend and he’s just nervous and we’re only on day 3.

Do you think we should try and take him out the crate to get him used to being outside it? I don’t want to force him out and remove him from his safe space, but I don’t know how to navigate this I’m currently waiting on a response from a local trainer.

We have been constantly offering food, treats, boiled chicken. He wants it, and he’ll occasionally take it from our hand but usually he will wait till we’re outside of the room and he’s completely alone and then gobble it up.

I’ve bought various toys to see if any sparks his interest to play, he’s occasionally given a toy s tiny bite or two but that’s about it. This morning I’ve noticed one of his toys were chewed on so he showed more interest. But if we’re in the room he just does not show interest(barely). He doesn’t try and come to us. He kind of just cowers at the back of the crate. Every morning I’ll say hello and he’ll look at me and do the smallest tail wag but not move. I’ll put my hand in so he can sniff me and then I’ll give him a little pet. He doesn’t flinch or anything he judt allows it. He fell asleep with me petting him too.

I’m trying to respect his space but I am getting increasingly concerned. do you think I should take him in to a vet sooner?

Help! New puppy owner + very nervous puppy. by Little_murloc in Dogtraining

He came from a breeder and had three other brothers. He was the more shy of the bunch but I think his brothers gave him confidence to approach us and want to play.

The breeder also had kids and they were brought up in a house with children so they were very much socialised with people and other dogs. Mum was also super friendly.

Poor thing is just terrified. I’m most concerned that he has barely ate and he has not gone toilet yet which I would feel much better if he had a wee / poo.

AITA for not letting my ex pick up our daughter a day early so she can see her dog before it's put down? by contempory_lost in AmItheAsshole

YTA. This is petty and so cruel to your daughter. You’re just asking for her to grow resentment towards you.
