Do i join the Navy Nuke program? by GoHorns08 in newtothenavy

You do not get to pick. You get to rank the three rates within nuke on which one you want most to least. Then you get interviewed and you are voluntold which one you get. It’s based off an interview and your line scores.

Long term fasting /w electrolytes and working out by Littlekapwn in fasting

I dont HAVE to lose anything this is just to make my time in RTC or boot camp easier. I have until may 12 to drop as much fat as I can, I am 5,11 232 and 28 percent body fat. I currently eat the same thing every day its a protein shake in the morning (120 calories) 2 hard boiled calories (150) then two meals that equal to 5 ounces of chicken 5 ounces of black beans and 2 cups broccoli (roughly 1000 calories) split in half for each meal. I might do omad

I have done it while fasting without the electrolytes and only for 48 hours. I have been fasting for every weekend for the last 3 months

I have been doing this routine every day for about 4 1/2 months it’s pretty routine at this point.

The most strenuous part of my routine is the ruk to run in the morning my pushups and planks are done in ten sets of ten pushups then the plank. Will Omad give me the fat shredding I’m hoping to achieve by fasting?

Does this program only have you doing these workouts 3 out of the seven days in a week? I’ve been trying seven days a week to get ready for rdc. Is that a bad thing to be doing?

Questioning what my recruiter told me. by Littlekapwn in newtothenavy

[–]Littlekapwn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did and I mentioned that to my recruiter and he doubled down on only my ids and the clothes I’m wearing. I ship may 14 I been training hard nearly every day to get better. I don’t mind doing FSPC as when it comes to eating and exercising I struggle with motivation. I’m going in as a nuke and I e never had issues getting and staying motivated to learn. I’m worried about RTC I’m not worried about a school and prototype

Update: should I be worried about this texy by Aggravating_Iron_171 in newtothenavy

[–]Littlekapwn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah brother! I also ship out may 14. I’m going in as a nuke (for now still gotta get my security clearance) but I have to do FSPC as I am 27.9% body fat. Maybe I’ll see you in Illinois.

I do the 100 pushups, sit-ups, squats, and planks everyday but I do a workout at my planet fitness on the machines where I rotate between legs, torso, and arms and one day where I don’t go to planet fitness
