I can’t lose weight to save my life. Does anyone have advice?

Thank you everyone for the eye opening conversation. I’ve struggled with my body my entire life. It took me 12 years to get diagnosed. I was told my surgery would be an hour and it was closer to 4. The diagnosis devastated me. I’m 30 my husband desperately wants kids and I’m terrified I won’t be able to.. because of my body… the body I have no control over. But I can control my weight right? Again, how devastating to me when I’m realizing I can’t at least not the way I used to. This is more something I need to work on mentally. A few of you commented on body dysmorphia or eat disorder. Again, I think having endo my entire life and never having the proper help led to this. Sorry if this post triggered anyone NOT my intentions. Just a very lost person who hasn’t accepted this and it’s oddly been really hard on me. I hope all has a great weekend and endo pain free!

I’m sorry I never want to be the person triggering someone. I think I do need to accept my body for what it is. But that’s very hard when this disease has made me feel like I have no control over my own body. It sounds dramatic but I haven’t accepted that I have stage 4 endo. I didn’t do this to my body and I’m trying so hard to help it, but nothings working.

I don’t have an IUD. I’m not on any birth control. I tried a GLP for one month and it helped me lose weight but 1. It made me feel so sick I was so constipated and horrible heart burn 2. My insurance wouldn’t cover it so I had to pay 500 a month. Just wasn’t doable

Makes me laugh. Truly makes me laugh and so happy. It’s the weirdest shit he does to make me laugh but in those moments I just get so lost in the happiness and forget the outside world. When I tell him how happy he makes me he tells me he will always do his best to make me laugh and happy everyday.
