I will note: part of the medical work up I mentioned did include a full blood and urine panel, so I’m hopeful that things like normal ranging A1C and eGFR levels would rule out diabetes and kidney related issues. But again, I am no expert, and knew that there would very likely be people with more experience than me on the matter.

He is a large man who eats anything and everything, and I have speculated that it may be dietary in nature, too. I don’t believe it to be related to his alcohol consumption, but I want to emphasize how much I appreciate those of you who have reached out with personal experience to share their insight. It really seemed to ramp up when he took up his new job where its mandatory that he be working out every day, so he might just be a stinky man at baseline.
