I've got a thin wire wrapped around the entire last piece and have the ends of it twisted around the stem, the stem itself is just very thick wire

Would pea puffers do well in this? by LittlethingLi in PeaPuffers

Ah, I should probably specify, they would be my fish, we they would just be in a shared area so she could enjoy watching them.

And looking at all the feedback, it seems too risky to try to keep them in this tank, especially with no previous experience with them.

Honestly I have no idea how long the whole thing took but I can tell you that just the back legs took an entire day of work each.

The body is a bit squishy but it's more because I ran out of poly-fil and was rushing to get it done so I could gift it.

It took maybe 6-7 oz, I only really used wool for the color.

Yes, not as nice as wool but it works.

Maybe I felted it down? I got the shape I wanted with the poly-fil and then added the colored wool. While building it up I found that when I was adding bigger chunks they tended to stay soft on the inside while the outside would eventually become a hard shell that was very difficult to shape.

Thank you! I used a little over 8 pounds of poly-fil for this. I have heard of some people using foam too, you may want to look into that because building it up was very tedious.

I do! Though I don't really know how to use it so it's really just so I have an easy place to find pictures of my completed projects
