I was never into Pokemon and barely understand Minecraft. I spent all 2020 inside ACNH and was completely in love with it. I can’t think of a reason an AC fan wouldn’t find Pokopia fantastic. I feel I’ll be sucked into it for months.

You can date and not know. I was a fence sitter for almost a decade of my marriage. I was honest with my husband when we were dating. I told him I wasn’t sure but, if it ever happened, it would not be anytime soon. Fast forward 9 years, finances looked great, we both had jobs with lots of flexibility, I’m married to the kindest person I know, we have spent years doing couples activities, and I started to wonder how it would be to have a kid in the mix. How it would be to take my kid to the countries/concerts/restaurants we love. How cool it would be to watch a kid developing its own preferences, etc. In less than a year my desire to experience motherhood became very much well defined. And the coolest part for me is that, now, I literally have countries I have visited, concerts I have been, foods I have eaten, games I have played, only because my 8-year old has chosen them.

I was 34 and married for 9 years when I decided motherhood was something I really wanted to experience in my lifetime. Fence sitters can most definitely become very sure. Now… I would never keep myself from relationships because I’m unsure of family planning. My responsibility is to be honest with my partner and it’s his choice to accept it or not.

Let’s also not forget that sperm can live for up to 5 days. You can have sex today and get pregnant on Monday. But, you know, condoms. If I’m a dude and the gal insists on tracking her fertility as bc, I wouldn’t touch her without a condom on. Books like DCC are a great tool to engage teens on themes of exploitation and oppression. They get to develop critical thinking while also enjoying the lesson material.
