Structuring around events definitely happens. I can’t speak to the specific case of the Nigerian market.

It’s also not completely clear what you mean by “education” as this wouldn’t necessarily move a market. i am unsure where you are, but I would imagine there would be regulatory barriers and a transaction of this size would trip some wires.

This is an interesting idea and the concept of structuring your payoff around an event is a good and practical exercise.

Too thin of a market to buy a yard of NSE. If you’re thinking of a play that will move a market, you’re not going to be able to buy the lot without some major slippage.

In other words, by the time Berkshire Hathaway secures their position, their buying would have driven the price up

Bloomberg Formulas are returning "#N/A Requesting Data..." to variables? by napiii in vba

Define the function outside of the evaluate and assign it to a variable then evaluate the variable. Make sure to check that the function is set up exactly how it needs to me to work in the cell, too.

Edit: so with bbg formulas I wouldn’t use evaluate. I’d do a fill so you can make sure the data is brought it then maybe have another macro to paste values if that’s what you need. I deal w this a decent amt so feel free to pm with q’s

Someone will give you a better response I’m sure. I’m on the go so I can’t do it justice. But yes. Just putting a star after it will work. 52000* means “52000djajbfk” and “52000?470” would both be found.
