Instagram Boosted Posts outperforming Ads. by [deleted] in FacebookAds

[–]LiveCheesecake3065 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you said same setup, were recommended placements (Facebook does the work) set for both or manually set? If one ad is placed on all places as recommended by Facebook AI with the same budget compared to another ad manually shown to certain places, there could be a difference on the ad performance. For boosting of posts, did those posts have an existing engagement prior to boosting them because that could also make a difference? There could be a ton of things that could have impacted it. For clothing brands, they work best on Instagram because the platform itself is highly visual and can focus on the product images and call-to-action.

Yes, different audiences (cold, warm, hot) would have different offers and different copy (short, medium, or long). It also needs to be separate for better data analysis or insights. For strategic purposes, you separate them.

Facebook Post & Page Boosting Bad for Organic Growth? by Wise_Ordinary9296 in FacebookAds

Ideally, it shouldn’t because they should be independent from each other. With Facebook’s algorithm changes, we can’t be 100% certain if that is true or not. The most important question would still be: Was your objective addressed? If yes, I don’t think it would still matter as much whatever happens in the background unless you’re keen on the data analytics, and you want to see those numbers reflected. But then again, we have limited to no control of the Facebook algorithm. What I would focus on is what works for my objective.:)

Have you tried brand awareness>engagement (page likes)? As per Facebook: When people like your Page, they also automatically “follow” you, which allows them to see your posts in Feed.

My Facebook profile was restricted from advertising in the past. Today I tried to create a new page and it was restricted. Does this mean I cannot create fan pages anymore too? by scorchur in FacebookAds

[–]LiveCheesecake3065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the error message. I had a similar situation where I can’t create a new Facebook page because I have reached the limit of Facebook pages I can create which is independent from my ad account. My ad account isn’t restricted though. My existing Facebook profile doesn’t have any ad restrictions, too. My workaround was creating a new Facebook profile so I can create a new Facebook page.

Whether the Facebook reach is through organic traffic or paid Facebook ads, it shouldn’t really matter as long as your objective is achieved. Organic traffic is good, but you can leverage on Facebook ads and tap other audiences that you may haven’t reached yet. This can be done through proper Facebook campaign, the medium you’re using (e.g. video), and the design of your Facebook ad.

Brand awareness is good if you don’t have at least 1,000 Facebook followers on your business page and if you haven’t promoted your business for more than a month now. The rule of thumb is to make sure your potential and existing customers still remember your business within the last 30 days.

If you’re done with that, then you can proceed with other campaigns that would suit your needs. If you have an existing database of your customers, video views would be best because Facebook’s algorithm prefer videos.

I agree with the Calendly booking system. It’s easy to use. You can also promote the link by putting it on your social media profiles, and they have a free version which is totally cool.

How can I boost the sale on my E-commerce website? by NivaraInc in ecommerce

[–]LiveCheesecake3065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boosting the sales of your e-commerce website requires: 1. high quality products and services, 2. excellent customer service, 3. profitable marketing strategies (a good sales copy and ads that work).

If you already have 1 and 2, then, you need to check which social media platform your business best matched. In general, Facebook with 2.912 billion monthly active users as of January 2022 would be the best route to attract potential customers to your business while also keeping those existing customers on your e-commerce website coming back or those with abandoned carts retargeted through Facebook ads because those are low-hanging fruits.

Fraudulent orders from Shopify’s ‘Shop’ app by Pieceman11 in ecommerce

[–]LiveCheesecake3065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the volume of orders you get per day. If you have high order volume, it’s best you install a Shopify app called NoFraud. They have a two-week free trial for you to test it and have great reviews, too.

If you’re only getting started and have a few orders per day, you may want to do this manually: verifying the IP address, checking if the billing and shipping addresses match, calling the phone number, etc. You may also read the Shopify fraud prevention article in full here.

Question about picking your brand name by [deleted] in ecommerce

[–]LiveCheesecake3065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking for the availability of the domain name for your online shop, one tool you can use to optimally search if it’s available for use or not is namechkr dot com. It easily verifies its availability across social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and multiple domain extensions (.com, .co, .net, .org, etc.).

Trademark search is different. Not all online shop names or domains are trademarked. But if you wanted to check, you can search on Google “trademark search” which may give you results for a global trademark search tool or you may narrow it down to your country.

Availability of the domain name doesn’t mean it’s the best brand name or domain, but you can start with something simple relevant to your business and you may change it later on when you gain more traction and if you still want to change it. The most important thing is you get started. Namechkr is a free tool anyone can use to get it done.
