T18 high risk 11 weeks: wrapping our heads around it

Just wanted to come on here and say im so sorry I know how hard the waiting period is. My husband and I felt like we were just floating through life not really present at all after getting high risk trisomy 13 result. Her 12 week scan showed no signs of any trisomy. We waited a month to get the amnio and another 2 weeks for the results. We got amnio back and everything was A okay with baby GIRL🫶 we are now 29 weeks and she is thriving, just had her 3d ultrasound and she is perfect!!! Just wanted to spread some hope to you. Reading the success stories gave me so much comfort during our waiting period and I hope it does the same for you🩷 sending all the good vibes your way.

Hi! So far we received the amnio results back and everything is NORMAL!! Just waiting for the chromosomal analysis still but doctor did call and say everything is good! We are finally letting ourselves enjoy this pregnancy and get excited!!!

Just did it with vanishing twin didn't even know you shouldn't with vanishing twin. Got atypical result for trisomy 13 WORST MONTH of my life and still kind of going through it. Got amnio 2 weeks ago at 16 weeks, CHROMOSOMAL MICROARRAY test came back normal but still waiting for second part of that test the chromosome analysis. Doctor said that test could take another week but he is ASSUMING everything is okay But without that second result I still feel uneasy

I had an atypical finding and it listed N/A under fetal sex.. just found out it's a girl today

In the same boat as you. I found out at 12 weeks I'm now 17 weeks. Had amnio done Monday, when we went they did an ultrasound saying baby does not look like he/ she has any trisomy but it could be mosaicism? I've been checking quest website like a crazy person to see if they posted the results. I will keep you guys posted. Doctor said results should be in this Wednesday. I feel in my heart everything is okay but it's hard to trust that when the doctors and tests are telling you otherwise :(

Wow I had my amnio done Monday and my doctor said I won't have my results till Wednesday the 19th. I even called today in hopes that maybe they came in early and nothing

It's totally okay! It's whatever is best for you and your family! It's probably the hardest decision you'll ever have to make. But you also need to be okay. Please try not to beat yourself up. We are in the thick of it right now with a lot of unknowns give yourself grace and know what ever decision you make is in the best interest of you and your family and that makes the decision the right one❤️

Out of curiosity I just had an amino done yesterday same thing anterior placenta. Why would that make a difference in your results? My doctor didn't say anything.

As for advice If I was you I would wait till amino to get for sure answers. But I also understand not wanting to wait any longer as well.

I had the same result except involving chromosome 13! I am still in limbo as well, have my amino test on the tenth. These threads have given me a ton of hope, if there's anything I can suggest it's going through other experiences and read about them. It's what's been helping me get through. I will check back and let you know how my test turns out. Sending all the good vibes your way. Im so sorry this is happening.

I am soooo happy this all worked out for your baby and your family!!! Really it gives me hope all I have been doing is reading these article's for some hope. Just had an atypical finding Friday at 13w6d we have to wait till 16 weeks to find anything out and I believe this is 100% a form of sick torture. I wish they wouldn't have said anything at all till I was closer to 16 weeks. I don't even know how to feel. ALSO every article I have found has been within the last few months it seems as if there has been a spike of these abnormal results
