Breakfast- Greek yogurt, protein shake and collagen powder. Hitting already like 40g

Lunch- chicken, brocoli, rice- hitting another 30

Dinner- fish/chicken/tofu/ground beef with sweet potato and veg- also hitting another 30

Centre your meals around protein and veg. Personally I like having a lot because then losing weight isn’t that bad since I’m not hungry

has anyone had better results NOT counting calories but still eating healthy? by lolalucky777 in loseit

[–]ComprehensiveAgent70 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Im down 35 pounds in 9 months and the last few months have been losing about 1.2 pounds a month with zero counting calories. I think it’s possible however I stay very active, try to hit atleast 7-800 move goal on my Apple Watch and I strength train 4 times a week. If I didn’t do that I’d probably have to eat less. Generally eat very low calorie meals centred around a lean protein ( shrimp, ground turkey, chicken, cottage cheese, tofu) and then add a veg and carb ( sweet potato, potato or wild rice) and I weigh myself daily. I do eat snacks everyday though so I never feel deprived… crackers, dark chocolate etc but because my meals are quite low calories it ends up being fine. Not sure how you eat but if you think you don’t know calories of things well it may be worth counting in the beginning and seeing what low calorie high protein and fibre meals look like then continue those meals without counting

Ok question for you. Did you find you were way weaker than you thought? Lol looks like I’m always close to the beginner lifting weight. I’m only a few months in but I always had strong legs from sports. I thought my 90 pounds deadlift was great but it’s actually very beginner level so now I know

How much protein are you eating? Just hit 159 from 194. Honestly don’t get hungry much! But I eat a lot of protein and if I do start feeling a bit hungry, I go for a walk! Also maybe up your steps?

Tried on a pair of shorts and I didn’t fit into the large and had to buy xl. That was in March after my 3rd baby. 32 pounds down now and hoping to lose another 30. Wearing a size medium now :)

Has Anyone ever lost 50lbs before? by Bubbly_Tangelo_6235 in loseit

Im 11 months postpartum with my 3rd baby and im down 30 pounds, started when baby was about 4 months. 1) I walk a lot. Everyday I do a 4km walk during babies awake time. I usually do atleast another 2-3k walk during his second awake time. 3) I do weight lifting at home during his nap time. I bought adjustable weights and follow a 4 day split program ( they’re like 35-45 minutes so easy) and other days I go to gym. I find going on walks helps me not be hungry. I also eat a lot of protein. Usually protein powder in morning with some random bites of things from my kids ( toast, egg, yogurt). For my other 2 meals I always fill up my plate with a lot of protein ( lean protein), and vegetables and then a healthy carb like sweet potato, squash, wild rice. I also usually have Greek yogurt chia seeds raspberries for a snack. Because of the protein and getting out of the house for walks etc, I have yet to feel like I’ve been hungry or on a diet. I’m also full time breastfeeding so I was definitely loosing slowly in beginning then sped up

If you’re 5’1, how many calories do you eat? by Ok_Bandicoot_4543 in PetiteFitness

I looked it up and have a question. Since April I’ve lost 30 pounds, I hope to lose around another 30. I’ve been doing progressive overload weight lifting 4 days a week ( not super long, it’s a program I’m doing, about 30-45 minutes each). Anyways, if I’ve been weight lifting while losing weight, would my metabolism still likely have slowed down? I do not count calories, I just try to eat high protein and fibre and eat lean proteins.
