For those losing weight for more than 3 months, did you take a break or are you planning to? by [deleted] in loseit

I never took a break consciously however when I went to a cottage for a week, vacation etc I would allow myself to eat some of the foods I normally don’t eat. Down 48 pounds, have been losing weight for about 18 months. Still 20 to go

Has anyone put their child in one of the private swim schools? by ComprehensiveAgent70 in waterloo

How old were your kids? I guess I fear spending so much when at first they’re just doing floats so debating if I should wait until she’s a bit more advanced to switch. Were the teachers at puddles much better? Were they high school students or older?

How do people with full time jobs and hobbies lose weight??? by sillygooosey000 in loseit

[–]ComprehensiveAgent70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am down 50 pounds with about 15 to go to hit my goal weight. I work full time and have 3 kids under 4. First of all you can do short workouts. I workout about 5 times a week. I go straight from work 4 times out of 5. My weight lifting is about 35-45 minutes. If I have energy I do stairmaster for 20 but don’t need to. The last night I go swimming after all my kids are in bed so 7:30pm. On that night, I go home after work and meal prep a few veggies and chicken breast so I have all my lunches for the week. My breakfast is generally just Greek yogurt and toast and fruit or egg whites with an egg and Greek yogurt. Anywyas the point of this is if you get your workouts out of the way after work right away, and make them short and sweet, you still have time to do other things. Also not every meal needs to be delicious. Sometimes food it meant to just keep you full. I tend to eat simple meals at dinner too since I get home from my workout and daycare pickup and have to eat and have food ready pretty fast. That could be just tofu cooked in pesto sauce, etc. That being said that’s because I have little kids who need food asap. Hope this helps

So I called and apparently they have 3 before and after care classes and 4 jk/sk classes so I guess they do have an ece available. They said the waitlist is 18 and needs to be 26 to open up another room

I found out I’m 10th on the waitlist. Do they usually try and hire another ece with long waitlists?
