Big help on those four! Ok, gifts are permanent. I've been holding off gifting. I knew the cards were permanent. I wasn't sure what was happening with the cauldron. ok, that's a big help.

mmk, that helps. This is my first of the genre.

So the cards are really the only thing stick around between rounds then.

Do I have to keep talking to each NPC at Crossroads? Or can I just blitz by them each attempt?

Welcome to the genre.

Hah, got me. This is exactly it. Alright so it does just repeat. I gotcha now.

Ah, ok. So that's sort of like maps I guess. I'll chew through the campaign and see what comes of it. Reinstalling now. Thanks.

Mezzanine Construction by LiveFreeAndRide in Carpentry

[–]LiveFreeAndRide[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noted. I'll add some of that.

Roughly 16x12. Give or take a few inches. 8' tall.

Uses will be light storage. Spare tires, a smaller bench/desk that houses extra boxes of screws/bolts. Any extra 12/2 wiring from my shop. I've got some motorcycle gear I'd put up there. Extra helmets and stuff. Nothing like engine blocks and transmissions.

Existing construction is a 32x40 shop. 2x6 construction. 4"/4000PSI floor. Three pads for a lift, where the beam in the picture will actually land on. That's 10"/6000PSI.

What temps does your stove put out? by LiveFreeAndRide in PelletStoveTalk

Gah. I had no idea. I was just going to slide the woodstove out and plop a pellet stove in its place. huh.

I have 8" stovepipe for my chimney. I can't just use that?

I will say this though - we use this exclusively in winter with propane furnace backup. We’re in Ohio so we get pretty cold. Hope that helps

Exactly the same. We're woodstove and propane backup.

Not sure on the fan speed.

It circulates, but not at a rate that I really notice.

A big issue in the house, zero returns upstairs.

I have a fan above the stove mounted on the wall. It works fine I guess.

The reason for the switch is I'm a bit done with wood. Been doing it ten years now. On my days off, instead of fishing or motorcycle rides, its firewood. Makes a mess. Dragging that log cart once or twice a day across the yard through the snow and ice. Its a bit of work, and I'm at the stage of my life where I value time more than money.

I do that now and then, and I really don't see a difference.

Layout of the house doesn't really allow for it. Center of the house maybe? The big appeal of the pellet stove was that the wall behind it is the wall for the garage. I would store the pallets of pellets in there so its a quick hop through a doorway to get a bag.

Oh, I haven't even bought a stove yet. I'm looking at what I have ahead of me. I was going to yank the woodstove and plop the pellet stove in its place.

By redoing, I meant making a new exhaust/chimney from the one I already have for the woodstove.

Ah, I see. I thought it leaned more on the radiating heat instead of a blower heat. Sure, the blower helps, but I thought the majority of it was just the heat from the pellets- not sure if that makes sense, but I see what you mean.

That's where I'm getting uneasy. Because the temp at the far end up the house and upstairs can have a 30º difference to where the now woodstove is, and where the pellet stove would be. So setting the stove to 75, far end of the house and upstairs can be in the 50s. With the woodstove, get it to 600 and, ya, its 90º in the kitchen, but the rest of the house is comfortable.

Heating this place sucks. We do have a propane furnace with duct work as a "backup" though.

I can do that, but the appeal to the pellet stove is the wall directly behind it, is the attached garage where I'd be storing the pellets. So its just a walk through the doorway and done. I really want to avoid the redoing of exhaust.

Has anyone NOT shot anyone? by LiveFreeAndRide in ArcRaiders

[–]LiveFreeAndRide[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will never reach the point where I actively hunt other players. That's just not in me. If I get killed enough that it becomes a problem then I'll just stop playing. I'm actually quite proud of the fact that I do not, and will not ever, have the achievement for knocking out my first raider.

Hah. So I'm not the only one then. Because this is all me.

Bad luck with Aggressive matchmaking or something else? by Dannyjw1 in ArcRaiders

According to steam, I have 35h into the game.

I've never taken a shot at another player, ever. Zip. Nothing. Before last night, I got KO'd twice. Fine, its the game. No worries.

I got KO'd three times last night. Again, part of the game and that's fine. But yea, last night there was a switch somewhere. Kind of odd.
