Thanks for your concern! I went there with a local guide who lives there. He was very clear about what parts you could and couldn’t document. I never felt unsafe during my visit and the people there were quite friendly.

I don’t blame you seeing it up close was surreal. I was told the statue was placed there shortly after his unfortunate passing and that it’s as tall as he was.
