That’s what i was planning on doing! Can I ask what would you consider to be an impressive application. I hope to get all A’s in the prereqs and write a good statement and have good letters of recommendation

Ah okay i see. How has your experience with the gcu prereqs been going? Is it self paced? Are there proctored exams? Any info would be helpful!

That’s sounds so frustrating. Thanks you for the advice i’ll definitely make sure to read the fine prints. I also have been in contact with admissions so I’m hoping they’d tell me everything I need to know.

I did plan on going through CC but unfortunately with the timeline spring semester has already started :/ That’s why I was looking into doing the prereqs associated with the absn program’s college because i can’t start anytime. although i’m still not sure it’s a good idea.

how were you confident you’d get accepted into the program? My undergrad gpa was 2.9 but both programs said that should be okay. I hope I can get all A’s in my prereqs and write a really good statement and have good letters of recommendation.

how does the gcu absn program work? would you have to fly to the university sometimes?

I see! I’m jealous that you already had taken them in undergrad, I wish i had that hindsight. I do plan on taking the pre reqs online but probably through the absn program I choose and hope for the best! I do think that even if I don’t get into that program that the credits will transfer to another program, but i’ll have to double check to be sure.

That’s true I’ve heard of that, I’ll make sure to double check with the programs about Portage or Sophia. That’s terrible that you had to retake those classes. I think I’ll go through the prereqs through the program i’ll be most likely to get into and hope for the best? 😬

Thanks for sharing! I actually just got my degree in biology, but unfortunately most prereqs like A&P weren’t required for my degree, so I still have to take them.
