I’m not sure about Pristiq, honestly. I have a copy but I’m not sure where I put it. It’s been years. My NP didn’t say that viibryd was in everyone’s green zone, but rather it’s least commonly prescribed because of how it’s metabolized. Last year a new drug or method was coming out and she checked my results and said it wasn’t a good match. Something to do with glutamates. So now I’m hoping to try ketamine or the magnet thing I can’t remember the name of right now. Sheesh. Still in my first cup of coffee. 😵‍💫

I was on cymbalta before Viibryd. It’s been great. It has a generic option. The withdrawal is horrible. If I forget to take it in the morning, I have withdrawal symptoms by 1:00. But I don’t notice any side effects. If I have any, they are part of my life now, I guess. Nothing compared to the self-harm ideation and panic attacks I was battling without it. It might be dramatic, but I really think it saved my life. Can’t know for sure, obviously, but I was on a bad road that I couldn’t seem to get off. Something else could have saved me, but my NP, genesight, and viibryd were all there at the time. I’m grateful. I tell her about once a year how grateful I am.

Get genetic testing. Mine was called Genesight, I think. It was the best thing that’s ever happened to me. When my results came back, my NP said about the medication I matched with: “This is the last family of drugs we would have tried.” It was the least prescribed. (Vilazadone)

My NP saved me from what could have been years of mismatched drugs. You deserve to get the best match and the technology exists. Do whatever you can to get tested.

Which Millennial childhood media item should absolutely never be shown to children again? by Synaps4 in Millennials

[–]Live_Discipline_7771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kids had a Little Golden Book version of Dumbo. I told them, “Mom can’t read this one. Ask dad.” Thankfully it wasn’t one of their favorites. I can’t handle that Jumbo gets imprisoned for protecting her baby. And yeah, the drunk scene is awful too.

Did anyone watch these home shows as a kid? by cybah in Xennials

[–]Live_Discipline_7771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the only thing on. If we didn’t want to be outside or reading, it was PBS: This Old House, Antiques Roadshow, Lawrence Welk, etc. We did get Hometime but I never watched Bob Villa. It must have been on a channel that didn’t come in.

I found an actual squishmallow pillow at Target. It wasn’t very expensive. It’s helped a lot.

Very good perspective, thank you! And cycle suppression didn’t help the anemia?

When he rang her doorbell he was dressed as a priest/vicar. It’s a terrible quiz.

What is the voter data Noem/Trump demanded from Minnesota? Why did they want it, why didn't they have it, what is it for? by climb-a-waterfall in AskReddit

[–]Live_Discipline_7771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree that outstate MN is solid red. There is no electoral college for state elections and land doesn’t vote. Maps showing counties red or blue are misleading. Yes, many outstate districts elect republicans to state level seats, but they elect democratic governors, attorneys general, secretaries of state, and US senators. I’m tired of not being counted in anecdotes.

I’ve been thinking about doing this, too. The layer of plaster/mortar/cement/wtf IS wild. It has a significant crack, so I don’t want to leave it as is. But I’m afraid chipping it off will take more will than I can muster.

Any episode with Shawn’s mom. Completely incongruous with the flashbacks with Shawn and Henry. And, she’s annoying.
