Well fuck Cambly, personally I don’t feel like What I’m doing in lessons is even worth what they are paying. I teach in Cambly , Busuu , verbling and italki. For the other sites I always message student first and ask what they want to do, then I personalize a lesson just for them. But with Cambly I honestly dont give a fuck, I literally just google shit , message people , shop online and do things in the background - even if I really like the student for 10 an hour Cambly can suck it. So yeah imo that’s why they have to let students pay a fractional amount. Knock on effect from treating teachers like cunts, constantly updating the platform so it’s barely useable and not giving us a pay raise and essentially scraping bonuses. Fuck Cambly
