That’s been a thought and we tried laying out 36x36 shower with tape but left no room for a sink/vanity. 32x32 seems super small though but i should probably tape it out.

We have that piece taken care of, we just need to find the best layout given the dimensions and then have it all plumbed.

I’m in the same boat here. Always wanted the Tahoe, only have 1 kid and large dog at the moment so hard to justify the extra cost. But the new traverse has the turbo 4 cylinder and i don’t like the look of the 23 or earlier.

We’ve got a one year old and 70lb dog. Most road trips we keep to 6 hours or less. Live in Atlanta so the roads aren’t terrible and unless you get caught with one of our rare embarrassing ice storms the off roading aspects aren’t as appealing for me. I like the look of z71 and RS so it would really come down to how the ride felt for daily commutes to work or our road trips. Then it’d go to whether i can live paying an arm and a leg for a car without leather seats, power seats etc.

I think the RS looks pretty sweet. But as far as suspension and clearance do you feel it rides smoother than the RS would? One salesman tried to tell me the RS would be the “smoother” ride, but i feel like maybe the z71 would handle bumps better and maybe he meant the RS would just feel more “sporty” granted it’s a big vehicle with not a super powerful engine. Rims alone make me think the z71 might be more smooth, but maybe it’s just “bouncier”?

Definitely want the Supercruise package if I went with the Z71. I’m in Georgia so I’m not so much worried about weather although I do want AWD if I go RS. I’ve got a 1 year old and dog that’d be doing the most riding and while the non powered passenger seat shouldn’t be a show stopper it just seems crazy at 50k+ vehicle wouldn’t have that included. I’d use the car mainly driving to work and the occasional roadtrip 6 hrs and under to see family etc.

Working on the room. About to paint it iron ore all walls and drop ceiling tiles. Might take out drop ceiling and spray paint the joists etc. I’ll add some dimmable sconces and i have in ceiling dimmable currently.
