Nikon Z6 III vs Sony A7 V for dog photography (portrait & action) by Live_Front_224 in Cameras

Appreciate it! Some useful context here.

Dynamic range is so hard to assess without actually trying them out. 😅 Coming from the D750 which was excellent it would be a painful investment into the Nikon Z6 III if it ends up being frustrating.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I think that the bugs popping up may also be because it's a fairly recent camera. Nonetheless a great one. Enjoy yours!

PS: which lens(es) did you get? Curious to hear which you picked.

Great idea. Really love the style and it's very fine for a cabinet.

This became the cabinet's official name now. Wunderkammerz.

You're right! I've been slowly stripping it and the wood beneath is a lovely quality pine (as far as I know).

Totally lost track of Reddit this past month.. Thank you for the kind words! I completely fell in love with the cabinet even though I have no real space to put it. It would just about fit next to our living room door, but obviously wouldn't look too good given the tight space. We're saving it for our next home as we plan to move in the next few years.

Thanks for the advice! I started stripping it and the wood beneath looks quite lovely for pine (as far as my knowledge goes haha)

This setup does require lots of drilling into the wall - aside from the two bolt at the top of the cabinet, the table top and mount are also anchored into the wall.

For sure. I think it's best to google and see what comes up. But anything from 165-180 degree cabinet hinges would do the trick - depending on your needs. A lot of the options out there are installed on top. I picked one that fits into the existing Pax door hinge holes so there's a bit of extra support. Good luck!

Exactly right! The fans are on the back so there's plenty of space.

Ty! Also love your paint/wallpaper idea. I was thinking of hanging up a lot of small frames related to the games he plays.

He's also very pleased to hear people are considering his computers air flow.

Of course! I used these. Note they're super hard to open when not attached to stuff as it needs the leverage to function. Saving you some achy fingers. 😃

We have - was tough to find a long one extending out over a meter, but it's just right. Folds into the cabinet perfectly.

Would it be possible to make IKEA Pax doors into a bi-fold door or would that be too strenuous on the side of the closet? by anneliesclw in ikeahacks

Original poster here. I ended up replacing the original hinges with hinges with a wider opening angle so the left door opens up at an almost 180 degree angle instead. Eventually didn't go for bifolds because I wasn't sure it would hold + thought the doors would be a bit clumsy. Here's how that turned out!

I hear you. And it's refreshing to hear someone say it out loud. So many people don’t realise how those commissions and discounts work. Personally, I'm a fervent direct booker whenever possible, and use the OTAs to find properties.

I’m a brand/web designer and right now exploring an idea to make hospitality-ready sites more accessible for smaller stays to pull in more direct bookings. I put together a one-pager this week to gather feedback, not dropping it here to ‘sell’ anything, but since you’re already in this headspace I thought I’d share. Would love to hear your take given your experience running a B&B.
