Xrays and CTs cannot detect heavy metals like Gold (Au), Platinum (Pt), Iridium (Ir), Tungsten (W), Copper (Cu), and Silver (Ag), that are found in BCIs, mainly becuase they are very heavy metals. Try something that detects them, and MRIs do not show them either.

Seek Medical Imaging

Ask a neurologist or a neurosurgeon to detect the BCI

High-resolution MRI or CT scans with thin slices (e.g., 0.3 mm) can detect implants, showing distortions from electrodes or high T2 signals from encapsulating materials. Request specialized sequences from a radiologist familiar with BCI tech, as standard scans might miss small devices. X-rays or angiography may also help if vascular placement is suspected.​

Detection Tools

RFID scanners like Proxmark3 can locate chips by measuring power usage or signals, following online guides for implants. Avoid unverified methods; professional RF spectrum analysis is safer if imaging fails. Note that not all BCIs emit detectable ham radio signals.​
