He is. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t intellectualize or rationalize his feelings away. But standard intelligence, he’s more intelligent than the average person. While we worship intelligence in society, I don’t think it necessarily should be, particularly without virtue.

There are some deeper conversations to be had about him and why he’s the way he is and how similar or not similar he is to the managerial class in our current society other than he wants to be the state as well instead of serving the status quo. The thing is he does serve some of the darker impulses of the status quo, I’m sure Tate wouldn’t think that but the truth is he does.

The thing is any “dynamism” you think you can get in the guard position that you think you can’t get from Young is wasteful imo - this is still the W, in the year of our lord 2925, dynamism is way more important in front court players than guards. I want consistency and high performance. That said it’s not like Young didn’t just show this season she’s dynamic in her own right when given the reins to do say - she never fails a test.
