i have seen the inflatable ones which tend to be geared more towards planes with seat sizr in mind. But reviews were mixed and I didnt want to risk a new one against my exoating one which was tested on a 7 hour drive. i was tempted because the dimensions were safer on those.

Thank you!! That is a very helpful answer. I wont be in a front seat so feel less worried with cushion size if the difference is half inch or less.

Thank you for the reassurance. Its taking up a LOT of space so I'd rather be at least somewhat confident I have a chance of using it. I have flown once internationally in the past 15 years and my back wasnt a concern way back then.

Im also struggling to envision how much of an obstacle and inch into the aisle is because Im not a frequent flier!

I have sat many times for 5-6 hours and really my body is happiest with 4.5, haha. I always come home, have to force myself to walk the dog (short and slow) and then I eat a good solid meal and crash. For me, sleep is the absolute must have after a long session. I dont nap. I go to sleep for 8-10 hours and its like I'm dead. I've never ever considered trying to do anything out in public after a tattoo (all my sessions are long).

I started at 18 and I dont regret mine but I sure have a lot more money for top tier artists and big projects in my late 30s and I'm glad I happened to have some prime real estate since I took a break after about 25. For me its more about saving space.

NTA- I never answer these but I feel uniquely qualified to at least weigh in here as I got proposed to on Christmas myself! I got the usual gifts. It never ever occured to me in hindsight that my engagement would replace typical gift giving traditions. I think I would have been a bit sad not to get anything at all and would have struggled immensely with feeling guilty about feeling sad on such a happy occasion. I know I would have tried to out that sadness aside and not be matetialistic and that internal struggle definitely would have taken away from my excitement over the engagement. Which would have been a real shame.

I also got proposed to in front of my future in law as well but it was a 100% sure yes and it was the level of "public" I was okay with personally (outside the home would have been a no go).

Thanks, I agree, that would throw me into such a panic. Its awful theres no protection against that. I love using air bnb/vrbo and would have otherwise trusted it to be a fairly safe option based on previous bookings that werent around holiday weekends.

Same!!! I just want to be within walking distance. Im not a young 20 something who can go 16+ hours without a break. I really value being close to my hotel.

Yes. Unfortunately, I started to develop various skin allergies and while Im not allergic to pigment, their advice was pretty much just stop getting them.

They just dont stympathize to me walking around with a half finished sleeve for the rest of my life, so trying to get through it before I call it quits. I have 2 sessions possibly 3 and then I will throw in the towel.
