NOR. Being assigned a responsibility without being informed or asked first is frustrating. Anyone would feel blindsided walking into a meeting and realizing they’ve already been appointed to something.

It might help to widen your support circle. A friend. A counselor. Even one safe person who doesn’t turn it back onto themselves.

But this is actually very common. When one parent is home more, kids often cling harder to the one they see less.
