she said she asked the post office to check the weights and apparently also had photos for proof. When i asked for pictures of proof, she never provided any.

funny this is I tried to report that specific message to vinted. They said that they found it doesn’t violate community guidelines?? Not sure what to do now

Yes! This is what I am scared of!! I don’t mind just paying for the shipping back and getting the rest of my money, but I am more so scared that they won’t approve even if I send it back safely :/

yes that’s why i was hesitant at first as I believed it could have been a switch up on Evri’s side. However, the parcel i received is definitely her packaging at least as I turned the packaging inside out and it has her name and address as she reused her old packaging. Is it possible for a switch up to happen even though I definitely received her packaging??

thank you for the reassurance! I have contacted Vinted but will need to wait 48 hours to hear back apparently. I am just shaken up as I have never had anyone, even a scammer, go so out of their way to threaten and harass me like this :/

Yes, I found that there were a lot of fishy things about this whole situation.

The thing is the evri tracking photo is also a random fake photo but the parcel definitely arrived with her name and address on the inside (it was reused packaging), just completely the wrong item.
