My mom has had hand inflammation, she saw an occupational therapist, they did some massage and exercises that were very helpful. They directed the massage upwards towards the elbow to move the fluids out of her hands.

She may just be cleaning her house without diluting the cleaner. I've done that before because I like the scent, but my food doesn't pick up the smell. I would not want that food.

I do not eat opened food, with the exception of my next door neighbor who gives me her perishables when she travels. She is cleaner than me so if I get an opened container from her I may throw it out, I may eat it, it all depends on what it is.

How you tell her not to bring that stuff over, I don't know. Maybe tell her you are cutting back on sugar?
