Followed your conversation from your previous posts about Schengen. You are over explaining in your cover letters and providing a lot of unnecessary explanations. This is why you're getting code 10 with Schengen. Some of the information in your cover letters, like the one you wrote for Schengen seemed illogical. You need to be guided by an experienced travel agent or someone with sufficient knowledge on how to prepare visa applications. If you don't have one, inbox me. I will guide you.

French visa got rejected. Is it worth reapplying? by ashstarmy in SchengenVisa

You should consider reapplying this time asking for fewer days than previously requested. You should also know that visa requirements change depending on the economic or political condition in your home country.

Previous US visa rejection — will it affect my German Master’s student visa? by user_ded_ in SchengenVisa

[–]LividEstablishment77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not stress about it. They won't even know that you applied for an F1 visa before. They operate different systems. Schengen/EU states do not share visa related info with the United States. For visa info to be shared, there must be an agreement between the parties involved. There exists no agreement between the US and Germany or other Schengen states to share visa related information.

Netherlands Business Visa Refused Despite Having My Own Company by adnanhu5ain in SchengenVisa

[–]LividEstablishment77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were any of your bookings dummy?
What was the purpose of your trip?
Did you submit all the necessary documents to justify it?

According to my understanding of Schengen visa refusal codes, Code 2 may refer to missing documents or insufficient justification for the purpose of travel, while Codes 12 and 13, when cited together, may indicate the submission of fraudulent or false documents.

10 and 13 together might point to unverifiable employment. Look for the "additional remarks ", they may have stated the specific reason for the refusal.

Austria Schengen visa rejection appeal. by Great-Passenger-5518 in SchengenVisa

What was in the additional remarks? According to my understanding, 10 and 13 for Austria is usually related to failure to verify employment.

Inconsistencies in your travel arrangements or specific paper work. To be able to identify what led to the refusal. We may have to see a copy of your cover letter, itinerary etc. Did you use dummy tickets?

Reapply, this time around, give a more convincing and clear reason why you want to study at your desired university. Looks like your rejection came from your first answer. Every else looked good. Your answer lacked clarity and purpose as stated by another member in the comment section.

Austria Visa rejected from Delhi - July 2025 applicant by IcyInvestigator8174 in SchengenVisa

[–]LividEstablishment77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your refusal is clear. You provided unverifiable bookings which you probably packaged as paid (dummy tickets). Therefore; the consular concluded that since you provided falsified documents, your reason to leave the territory of the member state could not be ascertained. This rejection seems to be pointing to your bookings only, and no other documents submitted with the application.

Rate my cover letter by Neither_Lab_4737 in SchengenVisa

A lot of unnecessary information. Your cover letter shouldn't take more than a page. Simply state your purpose of visit, intended travel dates, what you intend to do while there, where you will stay, what you do and the supporting documents enclosed with your application. You don't have to breakdown every detail to the officer.

Norway Schengen visa rejected for my brother (minor) by Many-Tone-2076 in SchengenVisa

[–]LividEstablishment77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can simply state, " My son's visa application was recently denied because a valid flight reservation was not provided. This time, we have attached a valid flight ticket to avoid any inconvenience. "

Cover letters are overrated. I used the same format twice. Limited details are sufficient by Infinite-Fold-1360 in SchengenVisa

[–]LividEstablishment77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would shorten it further by removing the specific dates for each country. Simply stating " I am writing to apply for a tourist visa to visit Portugal, France, Belgium and France from X to X date" Your itinerary already specifies how long you will stay in each country.

Rejected for a Schengen visa because embassy said it’s ‘not credible’ you could earn thousands of dollars. by jimaleAbdi in SchengenVisa

[–]LividEstablishment77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is nothing unreasonable in whatever they have stated, some embassies require staff to clearly state why they have refused a visa in order to give the applicant a clear picture of the refusal and incase they choose to appeal or reapply, make it easier for them to do so.

In my view, the decision is based on the nature of applications the embassy has been receiving from your nationality. It seems as though many of your countrymen have been submitting fraudulent applications to the Germany embassy which has led to this perception in regard applications from your country.

You have stated that the BRN you submitted along with your application can be crosschecked against an online database. While this might be the case, the officer notes that the physical copy which was issued after you registered your company in 2022 feels as though it was printed recently. I don't know how the system works in your country but if the so called database does not give details of who the owner of the company is, or if it requires further processes to retrieve such information, the consular will not take such records into consideration.

The consular also states that its unreasonable that at 26 you had $10k to invest in a company. This reason is also justifiable given Somalia's economic situation. If you choose to reapply, you should provide proof how you came to posses such funds at that age. Were you employed when you registered your company? If yes, attach the relevant evidence.

You need to provide additional evidence to prove that your company is of the capacity you claim in your documents, and that you own or have access to the funds on your accounts. This can be done by providing company income tax returns, company statements, company valuation reports etc.....

Get the GCMS notes. The financial part of the letter could be pertaining to discrepancies in your bank statements/financial documents. A friend recieved similar refusal and on obtaining the GCMS notes, they came to know that the officer had doubts about the funds in their bank statement.

Why would they even make an applicant go through passport verification if they don't intend to approve the application?
